No. I'm going to buy LBP, but I never bought into the massive hype train for it. And I never would make a thread saying why I would buy it lol.

people...friends...reviewers...not much difference here...its all opinions and clearly people pull info from reviewers so them 2 could easily be grouped together as the same. and friends well...im sure we can all see how they could be people as well, altho ill give that one to you since people might hold friends to a somewhat higher standard....the same used to be said for reviewers but thats clearly not the case anymore. but your saying people don't buy games because of there friends now either...which is very very false it happens...i know it happens...we all know it happens.

That isn't what I said. I said not EVERYONEbuys games simply because a reviewer or friend tells them they should.

Anyway, I just wanted to clarify that not all gamers are completely dependant on the review of reviewers or friends, thats all I was trying to say.

I had trouble understanding your rant of a post, so this is all I really have to say at the moment. If you want to think that LBP will just be an overhyped dissapointment, then fine, thats your opinion, and its certainly not one I'll try to change.

Jeremiah, bro...I laughed so hard for like 10 minutes...oh good god. Thank you man, for helping me spread the truth to people. Oh god that was hilarious. This crap is still going? Please try to understand this, cause I really dont like repeating myself. Its peoples choice to jump on the hype train, you must understand. Nobody is forcing anyone by gun point to get on, its by choice alright. So hating on someone for having the freedom to choose to join the hype train is moronic beyond belief. I for one never follow suit on the hype but I am interested in the game since I create games on my PC just for fun or for certain people or friends, etc.,etc. Also, I can't remember who wrote that people make topics like this because they want answers about why its so hyped and some other crap like that, I already said there are a lot of topics already posted, almost 1 in each page basically. There are also a lot of threads of people hyping the sh!t out of the game also, they are also stupid since there are another 100 topics of that crap. I already said how annoying as hell it is to see basically the same topic just after the last one went to page 2. People, are you that incapable to click the #2? It honestly seems like it. So let this die and just wait for the next stupid LBP love/hate topic to come and go please and thank you.

Wow, that is really, really lame. Being able to not adhere to a lot of rules is one of the biggest things PSN has over xbox live. Having to follow a strict code in that game is super lame.

think about it there going to ban you for putting up a wall they made themselfs. there are no rules to be broking when there is nothing there to brake them. you want a skate board well it is there for to put in the level.

another words there no way to put outside content that is not in the game.

there is no rules because you can create what they give you. you act like you will beable to put porn in the levels. all the tools are made in the game making it free of rules.

well i remember in one of the videos they talked about letting users upload something, can't remember exactly what it is now. and also you could create some offensive material with the tools they provide. they themselves(developers) in one of the video's talked about regulating it.

you can get banned for excessive tk's by using ingame weapons that are provided in alot of games so there are similarites, but with a creative game world putting limits kind of ruins some of the fun for some people. it might not even be fun to do but just having the options to do them would feel more free.

i think the problem stems from an E rating, while thats great for kids, each age group finds humility in different things as we have seen in this very thread. so making a game with an E rating, actually limits the game to only things that are acceptable for everyone, which is kids. and im not saying kids games arn't fun, i though rachet and clank was one of the better games for the ps3, but it is limiting in certain ways.

in all honesty i recall alot more hype threads than bash threads for this game...so maybe its about time people get set striaght with reality and not all the fantasy the people spew into our dreams to make us buy a game that was invented when hl2 was released.

OK, first of all nothing you say can be justified as normal, If you buy a game because everyone else likes or hypes it you are an idiot, and deserves to loose your money. I hate when People who obviously have no clue what their talking about try to speak for everybody. Second nothing that's been said about LBP is untrue hype, everything stated has been proven true from developer interviews. Why can't people get hyped about a game that breaks the mold like LBP? Other than that, all we got really is shooters or mindless killing games. Lastly, don't even get started on how LBP is not innovative, maybe if people who thinks its not accuality learned what the word meant there wouldn't be any dispute.

the video's (developer interviews) ive already mentioned. im sure its where the hype started from because in most of the threads hyping the game i usually see or hear reference to them. and i think ive already addressed that....and i know what innovative means as well...altho I must admit it took me a few reads to understand your sentence....but yah ive already addressed that but I guess I can state it again, "ive yet to read anything innovative about this game that i havn't seen in previous games" so when they offer something new, that hasn't been thought up/released on a previous system about 6 years ago...I might turn into a hyper.

The game might turn out to be fun, but i really don't see anything deserving hyped "innovation". Now i would consider spore innovative in the sense of the game idea in general, and the possible interactivity with other users and the game world based on how they build their characters.....thats a genuine innovative idea.

so before you respond again, please thing about providing something to the discussion and not attacking users verbally...as that serves no point other than trolling for w/e various reasons you may have.

you mean like madden innovation, see i was talking about what most people view it as, not the 10 pages wiki has on the word, and how it has been used in various ways over the last 2000 years.
