Ummm... no the slim ps2 had many overheating issues in the first batch. So i'm gonna wait and see how these ps3 slims hold up and might pick up a second production run of the slim. Not in any real rush b/c i got a original 60G that's still running strong. So far the only advantage i see w/ the new slim is that it'll use less juice which if ur a tree hugger then that might be a big thing for ya.Well, PS3 Slim will have twice the harddrive :p
i know what your saying, thats why im waiting untill october to get a slim, but seeing as how PS2 Slim didnt have any real issues, i would expect the PS3 to have issues. Still, you cant be too careful.

Quite the opposite my friend, the first batch of slims had overheating problems so Sony had to recall each unit.[QUOTE="re_up"]

Can't install linux anymore and there is a 360 like power "brick" outside of the console instead of inside.
It doesn't have a power brick like the 360 (where did you get that idea from?), it has an internal power supply just like the fat does, it just has a different cable (a 2 pin instead of a 3 pin). Please Log In to post.
