Like if they added Trophies to Uncharted I might go back and play it again. It was good, but having some kind of objective reason to play it again would help.
I asked that question to myself a few times. After checkin the video demonstrations on gametrailers, the only reason I see that its good for is replay value. There are different things you can go and try to accomplish get every single trophy. Besides that I don't see a point to it.
its just like going prestige in cod4, and the points that come along with everthing you do. its something that gives you a sense of achievement/accomplishment when you play a game online in particular.
It's so funny, people trying to get a "sense of accomplishment" from PLAYING A VIDEO GAME!? Get off your lazy asses and actually ACCOMPLISH somethig! Video games are for fun AFTER you've accomplished something.
achievements on the 360 have been a huge succes and become a selling point for many hardcore gamers, some buy carp games only to get anoter couple of hundred points. sony couldnt overlook this opportunity to boost games sales, so its all business. people get addicted to achievements and many of you will get hooked on trophies.
It is enjoyable to get achievements in a game. Especially if you worked hard for one particular one. I don't care about my level or anything. I am not necessarily going to go out of my way for certain achievements. But anything that makes me want to enjoy a game over again is completely welcome in my mind.
