i was reading reviews on ps3 by customers on play.com one said i can't play normal dvd's. i was like WTH this guy obviously doesn't have the ps3. anyone else heard anyone say absurd comments about what ps3 can and can't do
Someone I know tried to tell me the 360 line-up was better than the PS3's for 08'. Also, that the architexture of the PS3 wont allow it to reach the potential of the 360.
one is blockbuster employee said to me that ps 3 games are not on blu-ray yet that there still using dvd's. lol i ask him to get at least three games behind the desk and said then tell me why it says blu-ray on the disk right here.
another one is that some one said to me that the ps 3 has no power button or eject botton on the console and you need the control to turn it on and off.
the funniest thing i heard was when i first saw a kiosk and the guy setting was telling me that all the games will have extra violence like no matter what game you put in the ps3 ithas a menu where you can increase the blood and he said some game will let you even chop off peoples limbs, i just kinda nodded my head and then asked how long until i could play it.
Lets see...theres alot of them...I think the stupidest one I heard was from a GameStop employee saying theres no games coming out next year for PS3 and was insisting MGS4 doesn't count because it's coming for 360 a couple months afterwards.

Regardless of what Kojima said, I think it has more to do with Blu ray rather than the Cell Processor itself at this point. MS really screwed up on skipping on HD DVD, they're gonna end up with RPGs on several disks and miss out on games that use alot on cinematics.
I heard if you use the controller too long, it'll explode in your hands. (Because of the whole Sony&exploding battery thing with laptops, I guess)
Probably just the perception that PS3's aren't selling. The install base is up around 5 million now; more than enough to ensure that there are big time games being released for years to come.
I heard this last night that the ps3 is always getting recalled for over heating. And that he plans on running his system 24hrs a day so he was getting a 360. Also that the ps3 had no fan and that blueray disks were melting in the ps3 or he meant in any blueray player. Oh by the way theres more but not enough time and the guy was also a GAMESTOP employee lol.
