Are there any dungeon crawlers for vita 3ds or ipad yet? I'm haven't seen any that stick out in my mind. Touch screens seem like a great way to play point and click hack and slash games. I'm not expect diablo III or anything but I think that iPad, Vita, and maybe even the 3DS could run something like torchlight/torchlight 2 no problem. use touch screen to attack and have a hot key system similar to the bar used in plants versus zombies. I just can't believe this hasn't been done yet it seems so obvious to me lol 0.o

There could even be a cool control set up using the back touchpad to move/attack so you could see all of the action without your fingers getting in the way!

Well, there is Dungeon Hunter Alliance, but it doesn't really take advantage of the touch screen very much. Pretty much using a powerful magic attack is all I've used it for so far (But I've hardly started the game) and that only requires a double tap. The rear touchpad is used to control your little companion fairy (and it works really well) but I have not seen any options to be able to control your playable character that way, unfortunately. Perhaps someone with a little more time with the game will enter this thread and enlighten us all on all of it's secrets. :P

I know Skyrim is out of the question, but couldn't Bethesda port Oblivion to the Vita? I would think that would sell, and it's not like Bethesda is against re-releasing their games over and over (Fallout 3/Oblivion pack? In 2012? Really?).

I'd actually prefer an updated marrowind. Oblvion was okay but the world sucked. It was huge but the was just nothing to do in it compared to skyrim or marrowind's worlds.

Currently on the PSvita Dungeon Hunter Alliance is the only dungoen crawler for PSvita. Which is a late port from MAC and PS3. As for other touch screen devices iPad/iPad2/iPAd3 and smartphones. I never played dungeon crwls on them.

Maybe touch screen is not the best for the dungeon crawler genre. I would like to see more

100% agree - that game was far more immersive and, well, better than Oblivion. They could do so much with all of the aditional features of the vita too.

^ this, i want a monster hunter so bad. Hope it has an online mode with it.

Anyway, about that topic, yeah, a nice dungeon crawler or hack n slash would be very cool, but i don't think they should put torchlight on the vita, i'd rather someone make a game thats built from the ground up for the vita. Torchlight just sounds like it wouldnt work well on a portable. And about torchlight, i can't wait for the second one. Another game that i will play the crap out of. ( i forgot about cs:go coming out soon, the beta was okay, but with some improvements, it will be a pretty cool game. And some mods, you need that zombies escape stuff. )
