I've been seeing many pros and cons abouts Home will not appeal to everybody. One of the biggest concerns is gamers don't want tobe required to go into Home to check things like: gamer-score, trophies and/or to play gamers listed in your friends list.

I personally think Home will provide new possibilities to the PSN experience. Only whenif and when SonymakesHome appeal to everybody. It ha been confirmed that XMB in-game will happen in '08. This feature (if done right) w/ the addition of Home...Is the indication of a bright future w/ the PS3. What are your suggestions to make the Home/Game experience to work seamlessly?

I personally don't care for trophies or "achivements" cause they really don't mean a damn thing. But I would like a gamer card thing like in my sig, but actually tied to PSN kinda like how XFire is.

As for Home, well it would be a good thing as far as finding people to play with. Especially with the group of people I play with with my war games, when we don't have to fumble around and try to find eachother ingame. That's basicly what's promised about Home and that's what has got my attention. As far as paying real money for a virtual chair, I think is a complete joke. I've had "debates" in this forum about this and explained how illogical it was to pay real money for something you can't actually use till I was blue in the face. Like talking to a wall pretty much. But oh well, I guess people are just plain dumb.

My thoughts exactly. Home will be great to find people and socialize with people online, but making Home a second "Second Life"...hell no!

From what I've heard as far as Home goes, it seems to be turning out that way. I don't really care where my polygon man lives, but I'd much rather trade gamer points from a game score or something, than to actually pay for it.

I think achievements should unlock points that with which allow you to buy things instead of having to spend money all the time to buy things.

Sony charging money for in-game items for HOME is their way of giving you PSN for "free", if people dont buy stuff then Sony will just starting charging a monthly fee to help keep home up and running so gamers dont whine about not getting to play the games they want. Just one mans opinion though.
