VsXIII is going to be beyond amazing. Once I start playing a Final Fantasy game. I will dwell in my basement till I'm done playing.

SE has made no mention of KH3 at all. And the KH team is busy with FFVXIII.

There is NEVER going to be a KHIII. EVen after they are done with Versus and they make another kingdom Hearts game it won't be called Kingdom Hearts III.

It'll probably be released on Wii and 360, but not PS3. I think developers (like Activision) are finally starting to wise up and realize that it's just not profitable to develop for the PS3.

Birth By Sleep 's story is before the event of when Sora got his Keyblade. You will see a "teaser" of this game if you complete(100%) KHII(You know...the Keyblade War thing?!?!)The new KH game released for the DS will have a connection to Birth By Sleep story, so, make sure to play the DS KH when it comes out in the US. This game will explain many things in the KH serie(If you played the Final Mix of KHII, you will know what I am talking about).

A guy named Ven in the game(The one that looks like Roxas) is said to be some sort of "Reecarnation" of Roxas since at the end of a trailer of Birth , he said: Erase me. If you go back to 358/2 DAYS, Roxas,which is a NOBODY, have emotions,which means, he has a heart, BUT...NOBODIES AREN"T SUPPOSE TO HAVE A HEART!?!??! Probably gonna be explained in Birth By Sleep.

Yeah the team behind Kingdom Hearts wont start working on KH3 until FFVXIII is finished. Also who said anything about it being on the PS3, it could be on the Wii or Xbox 360 for all we know. I know people are gonna say "well kingdom hearts 1 & 2 were on the PS2", but realisticaly, compare the sales of the PS2 vs the Gamcube and Xbox against the sales of the PS3 vs the Wii and 360 :|Yo-gan

Plus you just have to remember the fact that the first six Final Fantasy games were on Nintendo consoles. That didn't stop Square from moving the series to the Playstation.

i think right after FF14 is done and over with theyre going to start concentrating on something alot like KH3...probably wont be out for a while though....my closest guess is 2011 or 12...

You'd get along really well with the reviewer at IGN that scored KH2.

I think if it does move to 360 it won't be as exclusive, but in conjunction with a PS3 release because of all the fans of the series. With Final Fantasy, each game is stand-alone aside from spinoffs so by moving to PlayStation, it wasn't like anyone who never played the NES/SNES games wouldn't understand them. With Kingdom Hearts, the story is continued in each game so it would only seem right that the third full installment would continue on the same platform. Texas2089

Following that same logic, I don't see it completely moving to Wii, and a Wii port would seem unlikely to me. I don't think the motion controls would fit the gameplay style of the first 2 main installments.Texas2089

Obviously PS2 and PS3 aren't the same system, but a majority of the PS3 install base are/were PS2 owners so there is a greater chance that they would have played the first 2 KH games than Wii owners or XBOX 360 owners. I don't doubt that a large number of former PS2 owners went over to XBOX or Wii due how much PS3 costs or the fact that it was released a year after 360 or whatever other reasons they may have had, but it doesn't make up a majority of the install base for either console like it does PS3. A majority of 360 owners were most likely XBOX owners before, and the Wii has been more pushed for the family gaming experience so a large number of consoles were sold for that purpose.

What I meant was that if my prior argument were to hold true, I couldn't see it coming exclusively to Wii, and that if it were to be a multiplatform game, I think the motions controls may hinder the experience you would get from a PS3 or 360 version if the gameplay stays similar so I don't think it would be ported over to Wii in a multiplatform release either. I'm sure Square Enix is going to do whatever it thinks will make them the most money, but I just don't see it on Wii solely based on my prior argument.

How do you know that the percentage of PS3 owners that were PS2 owners is any higher than with the other systems? I've never seen any numbers on the subject. But what I do know is that nearly all of the 360 owners I've met in RL said they owned a PS2 when I asked.

And as for the Wii... well it does target the "casual" market. Just as the PS2 did primary before it. Again I don't have any numbers, but just from the basic sales numbers and types of games released the PS3 doesn't seem to cater much to this aspect of its predecessor. So the question becomes who was mainly buying the KH games, and which console has the most of them? Only a market researcher would know the answer.
