GET THE PSP... It is way better... It has better graphics, games, and upcoming games... Not only that but it can play music, movies, and go on the internet... Like I said... It is way better than a DS...

If you're not a fanboy, psp and 4gb stick. Then some brew and piracy.Skv0ra

I would edit your post you could get banned for talking about that.

As for which system to get. It really depends on what kind of games you like.

I own both systems but I am almost always playing on my PSP over my DS.

If you could give some ideas about what kind of games you like that could help then I could try to help you find out what system you would like.

Since I haven't linked or explained anything, I'm fine. I know GS' line pretty well and walk it I shall.

Lol yeah but it really depends do you prefer games like mario over games like MGS it's really all about your preferences. The only thing i see better about the DS is they let you download games for free all you want and they don't even care, no new useless firmwares every 5 minutes, and my friend payed some one time fee and now he can download any game he wants

If you only play sports, racing games, and console-like games, get a psp. If you want unique handheld games, get a ds.

Because I'm right lol? Anyways, it comes down to the games you like. More serious vs simple and kiddy ones.

Na, its a good point. Once again, I speak from my own experience of goin in-depth with each system. PSP hours outweigh my DS hours by 5-8 times.

I hate topics like this.  NOTE: YOU ARE IN THE PSP FORUM.  What do you THINK people are going to tell you to buy?  If you want an unbiased opinion, go to system wars or something.

I'd get a DS over a PSP any day, but I have both, so I don't need to worry.

DS is more childish, the games are addictive at first but the excitement doesn't last long. PSP games are much more interesting and serious in the long run.

I'm in the market for a handheld at the moment and I'm definitely considering the psp rather than the ds.  seriously if i get the ds i'm stuck playing mario cart and super mario and mario this and mario that...  No games on the ds appeal to me and I've done my own research coz I'm buying a handheld soon.  So I'm gonna get a psp and 4gb stick.  Also lots of other awesome features sony don't want us to know about lol.

I have both. The DS might have a more 'kid' feel graphics wise but thats because the DS isn't a graphics beast. The only reason I came back to PSP(after selling my old one) was because of GoW, FFCC, and Patapon. The reason I sold it in the first place? It is because of how easy and linear alot of PSP games were. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to own one again. Its refreshing to change between my PSP and my DS. I'd say get both but if you can only get one...I think it comes down to what kind of games you enjoy more.

If you like alot of Racing, Sports, Fighters, Shooters, or games with quality graphics and a more mature feel...get a PSP.

If you like alot of RPG, Puzzle, RTS(strategy) or Adventure games OR if you just can't live without Mario, Zelda and other Nintendo-only characters...get a DS.

Overall the DS has a larger game library, has more new releases in the upcoming months and in my opinion, has a more solid game library. The PSP does have some gems though and the addition of old playstation games for download make it a very different, but excellent alternative to a DS.
