personally i would go with rainbow six vegas but you shouldn't listen to me or anyone else. try out the game theres a demo of Sigma on PSN and there may be a rainbow six demo on pc or if you have xbox 360 theres a demo there. it really depends on what type of game u like.
if you like both tactical shooters and ninja games well then all ill say is if you enjoy rainbow six at all it is a much longer experience cause of the online then sigma (that said sigma single player is not short at all and quit leghty and defiently longer then rb6 single player campaign).
Would say Sigma. Why? Because should support Exclusives on the ps3. So if you are eventually getting both, you should get the one thats exclusive first.

Technically it´s a upgraded port of a Xbox game, but I guess that exclusivity only counts per generation these days.

not this stuff again. According to the developers (team ninja) it is a remake with enough stuff to distinguish itself from the other games.
why not try them both its so easy to get the sigma demo off psn so you could at least try it before you buy it only makes sense. im only saying this because 60 dollars is quit a bit of money and well it doesn't make sense to buy something when u can so easily try it out before hand.
