No disrespect to LBP or its developers, because I respect the hell out of it and what it could be to gaming, but I'm definitely more interested to play Mirror's Edge.
LBP... although Mirrors Edge could be outstanding if theres some really tight shooting/combat mechanics.. I'm just afraid they are going to concentrate too much on the acrobatic aspect, and the FPS stuff may suffer.. looks good though, and it's pretty unique
LBP although I'm not going to get it right away. I'll wait for a price drop because I think $60 is too much just for the single player. My PS3 doesn't have an internet connection and no plans yet on putting IC.

yeah i'm going with nyc LBP looks great and all but mirrors edge looks awesome imo
LBP. ill probably never get bored with that game for at least a few months. plus im just excited about how much replay value it can get outta online stuff
Mirror's edge, although both are very unique and new games, I am just not into online gaming.
Also, I'm kinda fed up with all those unoriginal games, especially FPS like Resistance and Killzone. I'm gonna get Resistance 2 for the co-op, but online gaming and unoriginality? No thanks.
Mirror's Edge. For some reason, I have the feeling people who get all worked up for LittleBigPlanet will end up being disapointed by what the game REALLY has to offer. The game looks really cute and all but unlike many people, I don't think the game's concept is revolutionizing. I think it borrows a lot from The Incredible Machine, an old series of computer games. LittleBigPlanet looks more like an aspiring developer's dream than a gamer's one to me. Just my opinion though.
Mirror's Edge is interesting because of the graphics are great, and the FP combat and acrobatics look amazing. But Im more excited about Little Big Planet because anyone can create content and add to the game, which makes the content limitless.
i watched the very first teaser trailer of Mirrors Edge the day they uploaded it to the PS Store, i downloaded, watched about 10 seconds of it, stopped it and deleted it. Imo the game looks ultra stupid, the concept looks cool. Just not my type i guess. But i will for sure buy Little Big Planet on the first day. Looking forward to it.
October is going to be a crazy month, i have 3, maybe 4 games i want but i'm gonna just get two games and save the rest of my money, i'm picking up LBP (of Course) and Guitar Hero: World Tour (Band Kit). The other two games (Dead Space & maybe Bioshock) I'll just wait and find it on ebay.
