I just brought a PS3 and need a component cable. I have a old 40'  Sony HDTV(tube) and it doesn't have a HDMI input. It says it supports 480i/p and 1080i.

I see only 2 cables on gamestop, one 2 times the other in cost.

Which one should I buy? How different is the 50 dollar one?

Thanks!

Just get the 25 dollar ones, you won't notice a difference

I'm using the official sony ones that came out for the ps2.

I'd go for the 10' PS3 cables. They cost less, and you see how long they are.

Agree 100%! Just look at the reviews for both. They sound pretty convincing to me. I have the $25 PS3 cables and I couldnt be happier with them.

I have the Sony component cables also and they are very nice. I've never trusted non-Sony brand cables due to the two Madcatz ones I've had being fried within a week for my PS2.
