If you have these games then you know that these are the hardest levels to play these games at. What do you guys think is the harder game on the highest difficulty? I know one is a FPS and one is a TPS but that doesnt matter.
Uncharted on Crushing because it's, as I like to call it, "stupidly ridiculously hard."
As much as I love Uncharted, there are stupid elements within it. Such as, the fact that it can take up to 9 shots from an AK-47 to kill a guy even though I'm hitting him in the chest. Or the fact that the enemy gets these cheap-luck shots that consist of a pistol headshot from across a large area.
In COD4 it's easier to watch your surroundings being a FPS (imo) since you don't have to worry about moving the camera all over to see people, and then you also don't have to worry about hitting the cover button and leaning up against something you didn't mean to.
Call of Duty 4's Veteran difficulty, hands down. Although I'm still stuck on the last level of Uncharted's Crushing...any pointers for either :P ?legofan712
Cod 4 veteran is much, much, harder. There are levels that I had to just stop playing for a while, especially the sniper one with the big wheel. I never got the sense that I wouldn't complete crushing. I did with veteran.
Well the only thing i played on veteran with cod4 was a couple missions and the mile high club. Its really hard but it was nothing like Uncharted. That **** was crazy.
Cod4 on veteran was MUCH harder imo. I was stuck at certain points in the game for like an hour, but maybe thats just because im better at tps then fps.

really?thats odd because in tps's you usually have a wider field of vision, however in call of duty since its a fps your field of vision is more limited and you constantly need to look around. and in tps you can already look around.
id go with cod4 veteran just because of the scale of the battles coupled with the fact that just about 3 bullets can kill you, and fps are tougher imo because of what i pointed out in my above post.
I beat both at 100% and I have to say COD4 on veteran was the hardest. No fighting in the war room and Mile High almost made me break the controller. Uncharted I beat on crushing in about 7 hours never really had trouble with it.

COD4 is the harder game. I own both and have beaten both on their hardest difficulties. I beat Uncharted in about 9 hours and eeally wasnt too hard of a difficulty. On the otherhand, COD4 was nearly impossible on veteran on the broadcast level and the mile high level.

My thoughts exactly. I'm not as good at fps as I am at tps and adventure games by default anyway.
I would have to say COD4. I thought crushing was tuff but after playing up to the base level it got pretty easy after all the stuff you went through. I still haven't beaten COD4 on veteran yet.
I'm suprised uncharted has more votes. I don't remember my first play through on crushing, but when I played through it after the trophies were released, it was pretty easy. I may have had to do some parts over a few times, but I never actually got stuck on anything. COD4 was a lot harder for me, especially since I didn't read any tips or walkthroughs.
Call of Duty 4 veteran was absolutely insane! I got stuck on one part of a level for weeks before I was somehow able to beat it. It was near the end where you are timed to stop the bomb.

I hate in most games, hard mode means that your teammates are invisible and they only go after YOU. Where as, in the lesser difficulty modes, they go after your whole squad including you.

i only played uncharted on hard and i almost died because it was soooooooo hard... i cant even imagine wat crushing is like. cod4 isnt really that hard though... i passed the last mission which i supposebly the hardest in less than 2 hours
Uncharted on Crushing really isn't that hard. The only place that took me numerous times to get past was after climbing out of the plane wreckage on chapter 4. The other parts that I thought would kill me, like the courtyard and church fight in chapter 20 and the water room in chapter 5, were surprisingly easy.
The water room is easy because the enemies always follow the same pattern, and the courtyard/church fight you just have to hang back so you basically make a bottleneck and kill the enemies as they come through.
haven't played Uncharted but COD4's last stage (the airplane) on Veteren is ridiculously hard. You have only 60 seconds to waste all the terrorist and save the hostage. I still haven't beaten it
I have to say COD4 on veteran. Uncharted wasn't that hard on crushing to me. Crushing just showed how bad the AI is and this mode only consisted of waves of enemies rushing you and you only being able to take 1-3 shots. On COD4, each level was difficult and took strategy. Except for the water room in Ch. 5, you could easily beat crushing as long as you know how to shot.

Are u kidding me? How can u say that u think unchated is harder on crushing than on veteran in cod4. Hard on uncharted seemed more harder to beat than crushing mode. Crushing mode had a couple of challenges but were easily beatable. Veteran on COD4 was nearly impossible in the broadcast level with all those televisions and at the end on the airplane. It tooke me many attempts just to beat it. On the otherhand, uncharted didnt have to many replays because I didnt die to much.

I have yet to complete Uncharted on hard, but THOSE you mentioned were indeed really hard, especially the no fighting in the war room part .
After completing Uncharted on Crushing the other week, i didn't find it too difficult. But i feel Call of Duty 4 will be harder as i found the last parts of the game a little challenging in places.
