Which PS3 game has disappointed you so far?

was there a game that you've wanted, but when you finally got it, it didn't come close to your expectations? were there any games that you felt fell far below your expectations and/or standards of others? mine was madden '08. imo, framerate issue was a serious problem.

spiderman 3 - commercial looked cool but this game was horrible!

fear - for some reason i just didnt like it. its not a game i can pick up and play alot.

call of duty - bought this with my system, and it wasnt really fun.

i took all these games to EB and got like $130 credit. i still havent used it, but most likely will on haze and orange box.

i also rented motorstorm and didnt like it.

Hmm...Tony Hawks Proving Ground maybe?

I know the games have been increasingly rubbish, but I was hoping it would be a good game this time around...it just can't compete with Skate.

Lair was a huge let down for me, I was so excited for that game for over a year. When I finally get my hands on it, it just crushed me, I hate timed missions like you would not believe, and the whole thing is like that, and then the crappy controls, and other flaws of that game, man was it a downer.

Heavenly Sword is very close up there too. Don't get me wrong, the game is very entertaining, and it's a good game for it's genre, and great presentation. However, I'm not some kid, who plays the hell out of a game and enjoys going through a game 8 times just to say I got my money's worth. Money isn't an issue to me, I buy a lot of games, and I don't replay most of them more than a time or two. When I got through HS in maybe 6 hours if I was lucky, I was beyond furious. I knew it was in that time frame before I bought it, but still, it could have been so much more. Very much a let down.

NBA Street Homecourt! I was so dissapointed with the game that I brought it back to the game shop & exchanged it to a game thatI never thought I will have.

Sonic the Hedgehg. Itis the worst sonic game ever made.

Lair no questions asked, but in a way Heavenly Sword dissapointed me too, there was so much I liked about that game, and when it ended..... I didn't want to play it again, I just wanted it to keep going. It had so much to offer and yet it didn't deliver. Still a great game though.

Hmm, actually so far I haven't really dispointed. I got what I expected in every game I have purchased. I'm not saying that some of the games I have could of been improved, but they haven't let me down yet (key word "yet").

Two games actually, one more then other.

Lair was a tittle I was very much expecting, it still isn't a very bad game but it could had been so much more. It truly had a potential.

Virtua Fighter 5 no online option was the only disappointment I had with the game. It still is and remains my favorite fighting game despite me wishing to go and "rumble" with other players. ;)

Heavenly Sword, it has bad screen tearing, and i think the animation is poor, its like Narikos animation during combat skips frames, its not fluid at all, the cutscene facial animation is amazing, but im not buying a 6 hour game for facial animation and pretty graphics, especially since it only got 8.0 in GS review.

Infact i dont think i own a ps3 game that scored under 8.5, my lowest rated game being the darkness i recall.
