Ok, I am looking at purchasing a PS3 in a couple of weeks. However, I was wondeirng should I really buy the 600 dollar premium edition or should I just save the 100 dollars and get the 500 dollar model?

Also, is it just the larger hard-drive that makes the difference between the two, or is there really no HDMI cable for the 500 dolar model?

Originally there wasn't going to be HDMI with the 20 gig model, but DO have HDMI.  The other differences include built-in WiFi, the 40 gig larger hard drive, and SD and Pro Stick Duo slots for storage device connectivity.  That's all really.  Oh and the chrome trim.

there is no hdmi cable for either model, but you can get a hdmi cable online for 10 dollars. also it is almost near impossible to find the 500 dollar model.  i wouldg et the 60 gig model anways for the ports and extra space.

60 gig hands down, first off its a bigger hard drive meanin you wont have to upgrade to another hdd as soon as you woudl with a 20 gig, and secondly tho you may not care or currently need any of them atleast youll have the options of the sd card slots and the built in wireless

You wouldn't find the 20 gig version any where.
