I'll definitely will get Spider-Man 3. I have been looking forward to that game since the announcement. Can't wait to swing around the next gen Manhattan city.
I have no interest in either game. I didnt even care for the first Spidey movie so I have no plan on watching either 2 or 3. I dig the POC series but I could care less about a video game version. It is my opinion that movie video games are generally terrible and have little to no replay value. I would however LOVE some sort of pirate game that involves recreating the lives of pirates and not the whole angle of POC. I may be in the minority but your expecations for these games cannot be but so high.

im kinda scared to buy any movie games, they tend to not be as good as some others, i might rent spidy though to see if its any good, and watch the forums to see whats said

Damn you too? I was gonna put the poster in my son's room, he loves spiderman. On may 5th (happy Cinco De Mayo) we'll go to the IMAX in SF and check out the flick but the day(s) before I'll be on the game (CE all the way, what's the point of the regular version when that version will be similar to the 3nixty's) Can't wait to wreck havok with the new goblin. By the way they should've threw in venom as a playable on the CE, now that would've been more badass.Â
i may get spider-man 3 (i've never played the other ones, except on the PS1) since R6V is the closest game i'm 99% sure of getting, unless it's another butchered port
Naaaaa, games based on movies almost always fail in my opinion. There has been very few exceptions and I don't think that these two games will be one of them.

You should try "Sid Meier's Pirates!" then.
I would love to play that game. It seems that its only on the PC and I generally dont play PC games. My PC is good but its a tad old and I just prefer a PS controller. I hate it that Sony has never come out with a version of that. Thanks for the insite though....
I'll at least rent Pirates to check it out. I'm a huge fan of the movies, and it seems like it might be a pretty cool game. I might check out Spidey too...dunno. I've been thinking about it.
Spiderman 3 sounds alot like a non movie- movie game. i mean it sounds like it will have all the things that made spider man 2 fun, ( is the world free roaming?) and a mucho extra content then the movie storyline,plus i can't wait to see what those PS3 extra's are. Pirates.... unless it gets a 9.0 or higher from GS (hihgly unlikely) i'm gonna pass this one by and just pretend it i didn't see it :P
