I have all three and a pretty decent comp, see I used to play counter-strike alot, but now I spend alot of time playing WoW. But out of all of my consoles, I seriously like my ps3 the best. Idk what it is I just get a good feeling from the system.
First I picked up the Wii, and trust me it's fun, but idk, after I got over the motion factor I just didn't feel impressed by it anymore, though I still believe that Wii sports, Zelda, Paper Mario,and Wario Ware are fun as hell.
Next I picked up the ps3, right now I only have Tony Hawk, Resistance, and TekkenDRfor it, but I have NGS and Motorstorm ordered and have dl both the demos. Now, idk, from the games I have and the demos I have played I just get a good feel from my ps3. The games are are just play fun and I can enjoy them over and over again, and they look great. Another great feature is the BC of the ps3, I'm a HUGE ps/ps2 fan and still have tons of games I like to play on my ps3, along with still new un-released ps2 games that I anticipate playing on my ps3. Plus the updates they keep adding to various games, the light and comfortable feel of the new controller, the upscaling of the old games, the ability to dl old games, idk I just love my ps3.
Last I picked up the 360, mostly because I kept hearing such great things about it, because I wanted to play some of the older xbox games I never got a chance to play, and because I'm a huge RPG fan and I'm anticapating Eternal Sonata, Blue Dragon, and Lost Odyssey. Anyway, the only 360 game I have currently is Gears of War, and idk I just don't like the game, I don't believe it lives up the hype that surrounds it. However I have been playing games likes Halo 1 and 2, and Fable, and I greatly enjoy them. A disappointing thing about the 360 for me though was xbox live, I have always heard how it is such a great community and amazingly put together, but I wasn't really impressed by it. While it is above the ps network I don't feel that it is that much better, and for me anyway, being a big computer user, with games like cs and WoW, all of the console internet options just seem really inferior to me. A comp just has such much better and easier access to different online things that all of the consoles just can't compare to.
So basically, if I had to choose a system to accompany a ps3, I would choose the Wii, just more fun imo, but the 360, idk I don't get a good feeling from it, many of the games I have played for it have been hyped up to be something really amazing but I was left witha feeling of emptiness with most. So idk, I'm not saying any of the consoles are bad, there not, and by Christmas this year with games like MGS4, FF 13, Folklore, Warhawk, and Heavenly Sword for the ps3, Metroid Prime 3, Super Smash Brothers Brawl, and Mario Galaxy for the Wii, and then Halo 3, Eternal Sonata, Blue Dragon, and Lost Odyssey for the 360, ALL of the systems are gonna have tons of great exclusive games that are gonna make them all sweet as heck. Can't wait!
