The previous games were a lot of fun but the problem was that once I finished them, I didnt feel compelled to play them again.So I'm not gonna shell out $60 to buy GOW III. I'll save my money for other games like Just Cause 2, Red Dead Redemption and Crysis 2.
Maybe in a month or two. I love the series and but I want to play through the God of War Collection one more time, I'm also really trying to get into BlazBlue and will probably start going online with it soon which should take up a fair bit of my time.
Seems a lot of people are not buying it, fair enough not everyones cup of tea but I myself will be purchasing it day 1. In fact GOW3 is my first new game purchase of 2010.
The God Of War gams haven't really sparked an interest with me, even though I got the First game and the Chains of Olympus on my PSP. So no I probably won't get God of War 3
*raises hand* I'm not. I've never been a big fan of God of War. Going to get the demo, yes, but I got too many games on my plate. Final Fantasy XIII, Aliens vs. Predator, Bioshock 2 (about an hour till the end of that), Borderlands, and Prototype. :P
Just curiousity. I for one aren't sold on it I could get it someday when it's a cheapy but I don't really want to spend much on it either, and it's not because I want another game instead it's just that the game doesn't do it for me. So is there anyone else out there on this forum that isn't getting it cause it seems everyone wants it here haha.

Well, I only paid 9.99 for GOW and 9.99 for GOWII back in the day. So I gotta make it a trifecta and wait for GOWIII to hit 9.99 before I buy it.
It's not my favorite series so I can wait it out. It has ok gameplay but I'm just not a Kratos fan. You really need to like gratuitous violence and sex to get into GOW and that's just not my cup of tea. But for a low enough price I will give Kratos one last chance to turn me into a believer. I doubt GOWIII will do it, but I figure as a PS3 owner I should at least give it a shot when it hits the 9.99 price point. Given the mass production run this game is going to get I have no doubt that it will definitely hit that price point eventually.
I'm not buying it. It is a game you will beat in around 7-8 hours. I will borrow from my friend or rent or something. I only buy games that have long campaigns or a good multiplayer to keep me playing it. Anything less than 15 hour gameplay in singleplayer is a rent for me.
Don't get me wrong though, it is a fantastic game and I love the series so far.

I'll get it as reasonably as I can. I can't afford to pre-order it because I won't have enough set aside to pay it off by launch because of all the other games I've been buying. I'd much rather get GOW3 than something like FFXIII personally.
I thought the demo was ok, but there's a lot of games with a higher priority for me for a long time (Dragon Age:OA, Final Fantasy XIII, Darksiders, Alpha Protocol, Fallout New Vegas, Alan Wake, Splinter Cell).
I'll try it at some point down the road but I won't be buying it or playing it for at least a few months - I may just try to rent it because I am fairly sure I won't want to re-play it and will only be interested for a few days.
I decided not to get it. I never played a God of War game but I do plan on getting the collection one day. Money is just tight with all these games coming out.
I'll get it when its goes for around $20-30. I am a collector though, I really don't care for the GoW series. I just like to have most the AAA games for my systems.
Not getting it. Heard it can be beat in 8-10 hours. For 60 dollars plus tax, thats just not worth it for me. Only game that short worth the money is like...Heavy Rain because its EPIC
