who is going to buy the psp slim

Gettin' one for christmas hopefully. My old one has a huge crack in the screen and such. Plus I just got wireless so I want more online games. ;) Don't want to have to be stuck with an old, slightly slower PSP for online, do we?! XD

Anyway, I thought it was called the PSP 2000 or something... I didn't see it called the PSP Slim except for by users in forums and such.

I will probobaly get one, just not immediatley. I will most likely wait for a price drop before. I do like the changes being made to it. The enhanced d-pad along with more ram ought to make it a more pleasing gaming experience

I might get one b/c I've always wanted a hand held system and I like the new colors and designbut I don't know, are the graphics good enough on psp, like I've played a few games and the framerate wasn't the greatest but I know it's graphics are better than nintendo's gameboy and DS...

How is it going to have faster loading times exactly? more ram? wouldn't that speed up the framerates as well.

I've been saying I won't get it but the more I read the more i like the ability to play to a tv.

Ron- can you post a link for the EB cables you saw if you can find them again. If i can do it off the the PSP1 then that would be even better. Cheers

i dont have a psp so uh... can the old one connect to the computer through usb as well? the new one has the usb thing but i guess the new thing is it can charge form there as well?erodger

not really, the psp lite might be lighter, "slightly" faster loading times and a tv out but unless you are going to use all those feature well. the wait isnt really worth it.

But then againi guess the wait isnt too far away.

If I already had a fat PSP, I wouldn't bother buying one of the new slim models. I agree that I may not ever use the TV-out feature but hope that the increased internal memory will decrease the game load times.

But since I do not currently have a fat PSP, I decided to get wait and get one of the new slim models. In fact, I have already pre-ordered the Entertainment Pack with the Silver PSP.
