who is going to buy the psp slim

The video out cables already listed on play Asia are all 2.5m which is about 8 ft.---If i measure how far my tv is from where I normally sit that's still a couple of feet short so i'm going to have to move closer. I hope they sell longer cables. If 2.5 m is all they are selling then it might be better to get the regular RCA ones because most tvs now have a cable connection in the front of the tv for that type of cable. The component ones are around the back which would mean having to move even closer with those. ---I know it may sound like nitpicking but i really just want to be able to sit where i normally do when I watch the tv and not have to be sitting halfway across the room because the cable are only 8 feet!!mtburdell

also because its smaller the components will be closer togeather and this will cause it to be more dellicate.

hmmm I wanna get the silver, i asked gamestop how much trade in for the old psp was and its only like $60. Maybe I'll ask a friend if they want to buy it from me for like $80 to $100? still less than what they could buy at gamestop I think...ajefferism

I'm getting one when it comes out, along with TotW. I was going to get a PSP in July, but I decided to just wait after the new one was announced. Faster loading times and better button response sounds like a decent enough reason to wait.

Not sure which one I'll get though. The Daxter bundle is a really good deal, but I'm not sure if I like the silver (I'd take black if I had my preference - gotta see what the silver actually looks like first though), and I'm really anal about games not coming in cases. If Daxter doesn't come in a case, then that would be a turnoff too. Yeah, I know, it sounds stupid, but I'm really obsessive over that stuff. That's why my Wii Sports is in a DVD case with a printed-out cover. >>

Plus I don't really like Family Guy, so if the silver one is friggin ugly and Daxter doesn't come in a case, I might just get the black one and a 2GB memory stick or whatever.

ive never owned a psp and i am deciding to get one for my bday on aug 22. and since the new slim one will come out on sept 10 then ill just wait till then to get it instead of an old one which will drop 50~80 bucks after its released.erodger

I will buy one ... I love my PSP and wouldn't mind getting another one in White without having to import it. I just can't believe they didn't go dual analog ... that would have silenced all the haters and sealed the deal as the PSP bing the best handheld! Oh well, there is always the next version that we will see in about a year or two!mdhegs

They wouldnt make another analog now because then the next PSP(or w/e) wouldn't have many new features.
