Who is gonna buy Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2?

Im not gonna lie, I am much more excited about Sigma2 then I am for Uncharted2 *cue tomato throwing* :D

Both games are gonna be epic, since they are releasing pretty close to each other I hope NGS2 doesn't get over-shadowed considering Uncharted 2 is undoubtedly more popular. I can't wait to play some epic ninja action, and co-op is just icing on the cake. I'm really thankful that Tecmo did not add co-op into the singleplayer experience like silly Capcom did with RE5. I can see myself playing hours in the co-op missions.

So who is gonna buy NGS2 next month?

*raises hand* Purchasing the CE at HMV for £40.

i'm not sure yet. i'll wait to see some reviews first. i'm not a big NG fan on the current gen and last gen systems. i prefer the old school NG games from the 8 bit days.

Preordered. Aside from MW2 and Uncharted 2, NGS2 is my only definite game I know I am getting. I am still unsure about Demons' Souls, Borderlands, Alpha Protocol, and Dragon Age

What was once a day one buy for me. They dumbed down the gore and blood, that turns me off, so I'll get it probaly next year when its cheaper

The game is not dumbed down dude, so it has less gore, atleast it has MUCH more content. I can give up gore for extra characters, missions, weapons and most importantly co-op ninja action. Besides GOW3 will satisfy my gore needs.

Wow can you read? I SPECIFICALLY said they DUmbed down the Gore and Blood. Which put me off paying full RRP ($130) for it. i never siad they dumbed down the game overall. I know the game is much more polished.

Not anymore since they announced the Fallout 3 GOTY edition..

i'm getting the game, uncharted as well, that's why i bought my PS3, to play NGS2,

I already played Ninja Gaiden 2 on Xbox 360. No need to buy a new one for more boobies, weapons and a few short co-op missions.

awe man u just wanna start something do you, I've been a avid NG player since the Original Nintendo Versions, I also bought both Reincarnation versions on the xbox, but no im in no hurry to buy the game on day one as I feel ripped off not receiving what I want and what SHOULD've been in there in the first place, just cuase they feel to lazy to fix the bug issues that associated with the blood and gore they just remove it all together.
Sure it might sound insignificant to you but i have self control when it comes to games Im not going to shell out a Ridiculous price i'll wait for a price drop which i mentioned before.

also might i add the reason i have such self control over is even though Im a fan, NG2 isnt that much of a step foward from the first one. Its a bit like EA sports titles (a BIT like dont get words mixed up again im just using it as an example)

I can understand if some gamers don't feel compelled to buy NGS2 because they have already experienced the 360 version but for those who haven't they can really do no wrong picking Sigma2 over NG2. Gore is not a big enough deal, original NG didn't have gore and it's apparently still the best NG game. Sigma2 may not be Itagaki's vision but you knw what? who cares it's much better then Itagaki's vision. Sigma2 still has blood albeit not as excessive but at the end of the day the gameplay is still as top notch as it ever was if not more thanks to the extra content.

I can't believe they have edited the PS3 version and cut out a lot of the gore, that just sucks

I am not even sure if I will purchase NGS2 and I will probably wait until the gamespot review comes out. I also will depends on gamers' input as well.

I`ll get it at some point. I still have yet to finish NGS1. It got really boring for me around Chapter 15 and I couldn`t be bothered to finish it. Maybe when it`s cheaper I`ll get it. I think Uncharted 2 will get the living day lights out of NGS2 in every single possible way.
