Who is Sony Computer Entertainment's TRUE mascot?

As of this generation, it's Sackboy.

For me it has to be Kratos.

The age of the mascot is over, in my opinion.

Too many great exclusives, though I agree that Sackboy is just a bit more popular today than Ratchet. But, don't forget Crash Bandicoot ;)

Nathan Drake. Sackboy would make the PS3 look like it's kid-orientated, when actually it's for more mature audiences with the content of most of the games.

I don't think the PS3 has any. I mean, they have lots of characters so it's hard to say one is the mascot.

Sony has loads of great characters in their first-party games. Choosing one would be impossible.

Id say Kratos just because of how popular the God of War series has been and the fact that it was represented on the PS2 and PSP. Sackboy I guess would get all the promotion though, because you can't really have a Kratos' face all of a console that they want to appeal to all audiences

There is no mascot for the Playstation brand. There just isn't. When the PS1 first came out mascot platformers were very popular and everyone, even 3rd party studios had mascots but Sony always said that they did not have or want a mascot. Everyone tried to find someone to be Sony's mascot and when Crash came out he was quickly declared to be Sony's mascot. But eventhough Sony marketed Crash opposite Mario and Sonic, they insisted that Crash was not their mascot and when they sold away the rights to Crash they proved it.

If anything is the Playstaion's mascot it's the Dual Shock controller. More of a symbol than a mascot but it's something.

I said it before and I'll say it again: GRAN TURISMO. It has to be a game that was on every Playstation system and still is strong on PS3. So yes CARS, Zexy cars are the mascots for Playstation.

BUT... after a certain game releases this year the new playstation mascot will be...
