uNCHARTED 1 was an excellent game. the first game i played on my ps3 and what a way to start. ,my little sister watched me play through U2 and finished today and we both gave it a standing ovation when the credits rolled, we both havent done tha since she watched me play MGS4.

I can't be right or wrong since this is my opinion and I am sure that gamers other than the squeek teen group and action movie lower demographic I would get a good amount of support.Well then you defeat your own argument how can the sequel which does the same things as the original(which youo prefer) and improves on them in every concievable way be for a different audience all of a sudden? you prefer the first the fist one thats fine, but to say its better than the second and hide behind the veneer of "opinion" just aint right when the rest of the known universe and critics agree Will you stop posting already? I think that playing with your sister might have affected your ability to think... a sequel is not the same thing as the original so why would it have to be the same? The second game is clearly made to be more action oriented than the first and that is clear much earlier than after you kill 1000 guys.
I liked both for different reasons. It's really hard to say definitively which one I liked better because I like both of them very much. I like how Uncharted 2's story progressed and the character relationships were a very important part of the plot, but I think I like the whole treasure they're looking for part better in Uncharted 1. El Dorado is much more well known than the Chintamani Stone. Heck, I'd never even heard of the Chintamani Stone before Uncharted 2 and I usually know about that kinda stuff :?

Its more action oriented? are you kidding me?:lol: are you sure you played either of the games? because there is more platforming and exploration and more puzzles as well and when was there a mandatory stealth section in Uncharted 1? No its not the same as the original its why your not stuck on the same tropical island for the duration...lol dude

100% agree. i thought uncharted 1 was a lil bit boring. uncharted 2 is off the chain! u know i thought i was the only one, i bought uncharted 1 abit later than anybody maybe few weeks before uncharted 2 came out, i liked it. story was good , characters and so on. and i thought heck 2 is going to be a improvement and pre-ordered it, i honestly didnt think id not only love it MORE than the 1st game but it is my fav game besides demons souls this year. ucnahrted truely is a master piece sure it has small flaws here and there but wat game doesnt?
Everything about UC2 is better than UC1. This is fact. Which you liked better is irrelevant.

SAY NO TO OPINIONS. THE WORLD DOESNT NEED THEM. JUST SAY NO. Or we couldn't and just not be ignorant. I liked Uncharted 1 better because it had better gun fights, although Uncharted 2 does have some epic moments.
I think the 2nd one is way better because the first put me asleep so many times, I dont know why so many peoples prase that game like it a 5 star game.
And yes the 2nd one is way better so much fun and the MP is a great add on..
I felt the second Uncharted had a better story but the first had a way better atmosphere, it was way more creepier then Uncharted 2 and it felt like you were fighting to stay alive, not fighting for greed.
No, I think UC2 is one of my favorite games of all time. I'm 31 and been playing games since I was 5 years old, had every console you could think of (yes even the jaguar!) and UC2 is just phenomenal, nothing compares to it in my opinion.
Why would your really pit U: DF against U2:AT? Both are great and satisfying games that have different elementsto enjoy, like the jet ski parts in 1 or the chase ones in 2. I personally love both game equally.
Uncharted was a fresh experience. Uncharted 2 felt like more of the same also towards the end of the game the plot twist was not as good as that of the first. 2 is still a better game, I just didn't feel as blown away as the first.
I dont really know. Although the 2nd has much more refined combat, bigger moments, and better pacing there's something about the first one that is just special. I also preferred the characters in the first one, eddy was much better than flynn.
Still im really enjoying 2 im on the last chapter on crushing mode, going for the platinum and the online is superb, its hard to choose whether to go online or carry on getting the trophies in single player.
