I have no idea why you think Wentworth Miller, he looks and sounds nothing like Snake. Josh Holloway would be the best choice, he looks exactly like Snake and could do the voice. Secondly I think Hugh Jackman or Viggo Mortensen. But definately Josh Holloway for my first choice.

I'd like best of all to see a big budget animated film of MGS (that way they can't f-it up too badly) with the one and only David Hayter doing the voice acting. No one else will sound convincing as Snake.

If Michael Biehn (Kyle Reece from The Terminator) was younger I would say him. After all, the cover art on Metal Gear on NES was based on him.

Hugh Jackman. Looks similar to Snake. Could easily put on the voice a bit more, and is physically fit. Plus I think he's a great actor.

Christian Bale could totally play the part. Not only is he a great actor, he never uses the same accent twice in any of his movies...I think he can morph his voice into one similar to the one David Hayter uses.

Vin Diesel is a good actor (just watch his short film multi-facial on Youtube) but he has been typecast into crappy action roles that don't need him to show any range.

If anyone saw Rescue Dawn they'd know Christian Bale would be perfect.

if kurt russel was younger he would be an awesome solid snake. It would also make sense too since solid snake used pliskin as his code name in mgs2 as a joke torwards snake pliskin from the escape movies.

HUGH JACKMAN, Christian Bale, or Collin Farrell. i personally think hugh jackman would best fit the role based on appearance. although christian bale would be good too, he's F'n awesome in Batman/Equilibrium

uhhh please dont have chuck norris! i want some HUGH JACKMAN he would be great he has that deep voice (x-men he played wolverine). Hugh jackman would fit this position to a T i think.
