Who thinks Killzone 2 single player will = meh and online will = YAY!

I mean, looking at Killzone 2 as it stands, loooks like fantastic graphics but fairly standard gameplay. Now, who thinks that this game may actually be fantastic online but, as a single player game, a bit average?

don't get me wrong, I hope it will be good (sure looks it).. I just wonder whether the story will be up to par.. havent heard much about that.thetruespin

They dont want to reveal anything much about the story so that it doesnt get out and ruin the game for everyone. Thats why Multiplayer was shown at E3.

i think they said for offline vs multiplayer that theres not gonna be split screen...meaning there isnt going to be bots. ANYWHO they are gonna have co-op....definitely for online....and im pretty sure its gonna be offline as well. Theres no reason why it shouldnt

don't go spreading the offline coop splitscreen rumor until you have proof that they promised that. which i've never read anything about it. if it did, they would have been pushing that angle like crazy by now. dooont go spreadin that rumor...itll disapoint a lot of people. pretty sure the graphics are too good to pull that off on a ps3 anyways.

I for one have no doubts about how good the single-player portion of the game will be. Killzone 1 probably had the best story mode of any FPS I played last gen (and it was long for an FPS too, around 15 hours).

I do not understand the hype around this game. Resistance 2 and Mag have my vote. and of course warhawk forever baby.

single player is gonna be amazing. Just as amazing as the online. They are both gonna be equally awesome. And expect the single player campaign to be LONG since the 1st one reach about 13 hours of gameplay time. ReaperV7

agreed, sigle players seems almost generic looking, as do enviournments....maybe because all the shades of gray.

Maybe some people bashed it for that.However,I bashed Halo because it's an overrated generic shooter with **** graphics and a poor single player campaign with a generic protagonist.
