Who wants custom soundtracks for PS3 games?

I think Sony should include a custom soundtrack option for games in one of their system updates. Would that not be "next gen" ?4 phuc's sake theoriginal xbox had it, and it was great. It sucks being confined to someone else's music selection for certain games, esp. when I have a network hooked up to my PS3 with tons of stuff that I'd rather be listening to.

The idea certainly sounds cool, but I'm not entirely sure how much I'd end up using it. Certainly in open world games like Oblivion or GTAIV, but others?????Epipsychidion

Like racing games, snowboarding/skate games, some FPS games, etc..

OMFG, HOW MANY TIMES HAVE PPL ASKED THIS AND EXPLAINED IT ALREADY??? The PS3 ALREADY has custom soundtracks! Its just up to the developer of the game you're playing to include the option in the game. The game itself has to be built so that it can use the feature. Like XBOX1, not all games used the soundtracks...but does that mean XBOX doesn't have it?

In game XMB will be in 2.0 update, so if you want it that bad, it wont matter if the developer of the game included it, you can just go and play the music yourself.

I really love music, but i dont care about custom soundtracks because i dont want to keep listening to my fav music over and over again until i get tired and sick of it. Which i why i wouldn't use it, even if any of the games i have used the feature.
