No word of a lie, soon as i typed that message, it just froze and just restarted it! man why does it go blank everytime when it says not enough memory, is there a way to increase the memory at all? could be a stupid question but ah whatever.
iv had my PS3 lock up about 5 times when i was playing assassins creed.. i had just got my ps3 and AC so i went to gamestop and got a new one and it still locked up so it was the game.. i did not have internet at that time and i told the guy at gamestop what game i was playing..

well once the broswer froze on me twice in a rowwhich was a week ago. I stoped using it. I just use my PC. until the release a new firmware update to fix it, i would stay off the browser.

well there is an update for AC that fixes the freezing. you have to update it throught the ps3 which you need a internet connection

Oh ya, I know that...it's not the consoles' fault, i blame the iffy servers for that...I'm talking about playing demos (specifically Heavenly Sword), Movies (only twice this happened) and browsing the net.
Mine kept doing that, but when I turned off that little Information Board ticker that is on the top-right of the screen, nothing froze anymore. The code for that little ticker was probably hideously undertested.

I pushed in a DVD-RW with video content. It loaded up part-way, but froze before reaching the menu. I tried a second time after shutting down my system and it loaded fine.
Mine has frozen quite a few times actually, but to be honest i havn't been too worried.. should I be?
Its frozen whilst doing most things eg. browsing, playing games (online and off). Most of the time its when ive got music running and lots of pages open on the browser.
mine froze twice on warhawk v1.00 never since though, once on ratchet after alot of glitches all happened at once, never on ridge racer 7, oblivion or UT3 but when my ethernet cable used get disconnected from my modem easily whenever a work unit was done on f@h it would freeze like there was no tomorrow, doesnt happen anymore though
Mine has frozen ONCE while playing ratchet and clank. And just to let you know, there are soo many people on the Assassin's creed board complaining that that game freezes really often, I beat the whole game and it never once happened
