Why Did Sony include an (official) Iso Loader in 3.50 FW?

*Not Homebrew* So according to people who've looked at the 3.50 + FW, Sony has included an official ISO loader in the PSP. Why would they hurt themselves in the long run?

Do they have any official plans to buy PSP games VIA PSN/Internet?

an odd move seeing how they are basically handing hackers and homebrewers tools

possibly means they are going to be distributing games via internet or something later on down the line. (and along with that, milking PSP owners to buy bigger memory sticks)

No, PS1 games are loaded into a seperate emulator in the Firmware.
What they are talking about is an actual PSP ISO loader for PSP Game ISOs.
No word on why they did that, but I'm sure they've got something up their sleeve.

People discovered the USB Driver for a Camera and a GPS attatchment in the Firmware waaay before the official announcement.
