why did you buy killzone 2?

is it because of the graphics? did the graphics save the game?-- what if it doesn't have the awesome graphicsas the world goes crazy about?, would it still be good?better? or just as good as other fps?coz i'm still stuck if i'm getting this game or not.

Graphics got me to buy it. But an excellent FPS is what I found after playing.

I needed another FPS online shooter besides COD4 to play while I drink. I also really liked the atmosphere of the first KZ it just wasn't polished enough so I picked this one up. I think if they would've put co-op in this it would easily be the best FPS around, but it was still well worth it.

Oh and graphics were not a factor.

no the graphics isn't like 1st trailer at E2005, sony just lie to us, if u see E2005 traileru i'll see much different, but u can say is great FPS.

While the graphics are indeed great, it's a generic FPS game to me, a lot like Xbox 360's Halo.

I like my games with flavor and a good campaign mode. More "online oriented" games should follow the steps of Call of Duty 4 - that one was a blast single player game with great graphics and ALSO the best multiplayer expeirence avaiable.

If I want an online-onlygame I'll play a MMO.

Overall game play is most important than graphics, Killzone 2's got a pretty solid single player campaign and it's multiplayer is pretty awesome. In one match you get to play different objectives where as you only play one type of objective per match in other fps games. The graphics in Killzone 2 is just the icing on the cake.

Killzone2= Best FPS Shooter on Ps3 and XBox360. Graphics are great. And gameplay is intense and chaos all over! Perks are great online and everything is great. Best FPS this gen.

i kinda liked the first one, or at least the concept,it has a potential to big a big game... it was hyped as well, but fell short in delivering... it needed a lot of improvemnts... then Killzone 2 came, it was very much improved, it did quite deliver... but still has room for more improvements...

Haven't bought it, probably won't buy it either. Possibly I'll rent it later on.

I broughKZ2 because the first one was really fun to play and after watching so many videos of KZ2 i decided it was more to my liking then resistance. resistance lost the cool narrative and the suspicious nature of the characters in the sequel where as KZ2 has taken you away from the story and chucked you into another part of it.

Your now Sev but theres a lot of familiarity in it all. I didnt really care about the graphics because graphics dont make a game good or bad they just alter the atmosphere.

Basicly my gut feeling told me to get it and it was worth it...but im a bit pissed that so many people had to complain about it becuase they just had no skill in adapting to its style.

i just bought it because i wanted to see what all the hoopla was about. it's pretty fun, but nothing extraordinary.

i'd probably give it a 8.5.

Cause it came free with my PS3. But the online factor gets my vote.

I'm going to buy it today, based off how much I enjoyed the first game and the demo. I'm trading in CoD:WaW to get it, because I really can't see myself spending lots of time playing more than one FPS at a time, and the new CoD games just don't have me coming back to play them that much.

Don't get me wrong, CoD online is brilliant fun, but I think the SP campaigns are bland, they don't have the same excitement of the earlier games in the series. Way back when Call Of Duty first came out (and the United Offensive expansion pack) when I wasn't playing that online (which I did a lot!), the solo campaigns were so good I'd go back and play them again and again and again, I never (even to this day) got bored of them! But I never really found that with CoD4, then when World at War came out I traded Modern Warfare in for it, and now I'm trading WaW in for Killzone! I just kept going back and playing the demo, it made want to keep going. Killzone's compelling-sounding multiplayer is just a bonus!

Because of the hype!

I'm a fan of the series and I was hoping that it would kill my COD4 addiction....it fell short in some areas "BUT''it excelled in others.
