Why did you choose a PS3 ???

ok guys this is my 1st on ps3 forum. and i am thinking of gettin a ps3. had the ps,ps2 and the psp. nvr thought of gettin the ps3. well why i would get a ps3 this month

1. my 3rd xbox 360 died on me... so i am regretting gettn a console that breaks down almost everytime.
2. my aging PC is also dying... Motherboard and harddisk.
3. i wanna stay young forever( at heart ) lol i think only ps3 can keep me young not like xbox that frustrates me everytime.

You have to watch it all for it to make more sense, I spent to much time on the first two games.

This is why and 09 will inded maybe even use 80% Power. I mean DOes anyone really think PS3 games will run at 30% for the next 5 years,, lol. No I did not think so either. MGS4 will even look like junk by what 2010 PS3 stuff will look like.

Pretty funny that this comes up. I just started a board on the 360 page about 2 hours ago saying that PS3 is better than 360 and the Xbox fanboys should come over to Sony. I got a point deduction from gamespot and they took my board off the site(I find it absolutly hilarious that someone on there would report me for expressing my opinion that PS3 is WAY WAY better than 360) I just was bored and wanted to find out why some people still insist on saying Xbox is better. Really I was just backing up brand SONY. As for your qustion: Why did I buy a PS3?? Where do I start... Well its a Blu Ray, DVD, CD(not that exciting), PS1, PS2, and PS3 player. It stores videos, pictures, and music. It has a internet browser. You dont have to pay for online. Although many stuborn people will disagree, it has some really great games out, and will soon enough have some WAY better games than the 360. AND the PS3 is the most reliable system(even though mine just broke, but im pretty sure it was the internet browser)!! Soooo thats why I got my PS3, I think I hit the main points, but if anyone spots anything that I did miss please point it out some I have somemore fire power against the 360 girls. AND PLEASE nobody report me for expressing my mind. If anything I have said in this post is upsetting to anyone, well then I kindly suggest some help. Think thats all I have to say for now... I think you got reported because there are alot of angry people trolling around these forums and they like to try and feel cool by getting folks in trouble. I got reported by a fellow named " xeforgotten " for talking about PS3 hardware on THIS board. " This is not a board to talk about system hardware blah blah blah." Normally it is just grumpy people trying to feel like they have some power over someone else. Don't let the h8 get you down m8

Oh and when you get done with that long test vid. Read what EA had to say about the PS3. They said they will still have some hurdles to learn and get over, but!

I lost my 3rd name. Yea I have been here a long time! And been cut many times. The one time it was for the same thing. Reporting on true hardware issues. Nothing more. The race is about to shift, and alot are just frustrated. But Like I said a millions times. You had to be a idiot not to see it coming. To many things just fall into easy mathematical place for the PS3 future. I mean many said it, but its like alot did not want to hear it. Who cares. The point of graphical gaming, is garbing the best newest, toughest to learn hardware, so you can make the best gaming experience from it. Not to grab basic hardware that does stuff you can already do, and make just more ok games. And I cant see why the public would not want to go foward to better. And thats the PS3.

I've stuck with Sony always, it's easier to keep up in technology if you stick with one company :D

I've been through they're ups and downs, heck I still have a Betamax machine :D

Someone says "oh my Xbox can do this..." I can say "ya well can your Xbox go online for free, interact with thousands of other users in an online virtual world, watch an HD video withouth an add on, and have a low failiure rate?"

I was saving up for a 360, and my dad knew about it.

He happened to be out of town when i was nearing 400 bucks for a 360. He was working with some dude who had a stock of PS3's (its a long story, i dont remember why), and my dad kind of saved his butt from getting fired, so the guy said he'd give us a deal on a ps3. Got the 60 gig for about 350$.

Two days later dad arrived at LAX with a brand new ps3.(also, i only had to pay for half because dad wanted a blu ray player XD)

1 Reliabilty(no rrod)

2 Exclusives

3 Playstation pride

4 Blu-ray

5 Controller

6 the small things...

not necesarily in that order

I've always been on Sony's side.

No regrets purchasing the PS3.
