Why do some gamers say Ninja gaiden sigma is a remake

Of a remake, do they know what is a remake? people seem to think that ninja gaiden black is a remake while in-fact it is the same game just with a new difficulty level and add the online pack to it.

Now these are remakes:

Metal gear solid (PS)>>>> Metal gear solid: twin snake ( GC )

Resident evil ( PS )>>>> Resident evil remake ( GC )

And Ninja gaiden/ black >>> Ninja gaiden sigma is the first remake.

Actually Sigma is a re-release just like Black was. Resident Evil 4 was released on GC, then PS2, then Wii. Those are all re-releases not remakes, just like Nija Gaiden with Black and Sigma. acidBURN1942

Got to admit it has fantastic graphics and it runs flawlessly

They redone the whole game, read the interviews, the basis is the same(storyline and in-game design), but they rebuild the entire game.

I have played both Ninja Gaiden and Nija Gaiden Black on the XBOX. All im saying is that this is not a remake. The gameplay is EXACTLY the same (few tweaks but nothing that changes the core gameplay mecahnics), and the graphics arepretty much teh same. Sure it uses teh power of the PS3 to add better lighting effects and touchitup some, but its still the same god damn game, therefore not remake, but a re-release. now Rygar is a remake, spy hunter is a remake, the first ninja gaiden on xbox could be considered a remake. not nija gaidensigma though.

Of course its a remake. Sure the textures are redone, but the core game-play and engine are exactly the same as the old games, save for a few minor game-play tweaks. It was always a great game, now it just looks prettier. Oh by the way, blu ray has absolutely nothing to do with this game. Videodogg

Is the final version of a game the remake of the beta version of the game??? i tihnk not. So how can ninja Gaiden sigma be a remake of ninja gaiden? It is not a remade version of ninja gaiden from the xbox. It is a polished version with ps3 graphics.nirvanna

Sigma is a remake as much as Twin Snakes is.

So please tell me how Twin Snakes are a remake but not Sigma. It´s just on a new system with some graphics changed. The BASIC story are the same. Exactly as Sigma.
