I got WaW saturday and was the would be the same but with different settings, names, and weapons, I though they used the same engine, and CoD4 looks a hell of alot better.
Well there isn't exactly a huge graphical difference between the 2 but CoD4 does look better. I think its because CoD4 was designed to be a next gen game where as WaW has a version on the PS2 as well. Probably wasn't made to look good as CoD4 but equally as fun. NAZI ZOMBIES!!!
yeh Cod4 looks better and i was a bit put off because everything from cod4 was basically copied over to cod waw; same engine, multiplayer style, loading screen designs and even a level inspired by the mission in cod4 where you sneak around as a sniper with captain macmillan in Ukraine - ive not seen many people notice this in cod waw.

when you use the same engine but with more details(legs bn blowed off) its going to take away from the graphics slightly but hardly anything noticable....what you guys are probally seeing is the fact they made it more realistic gameplay such as a bush is dark compared to cod4 where u can see thru a bush...cod5 is campers paradise RR...but no cod4 is just a brighter scene where cod5 is dark so it looks a lil better but their the same
