[QUOTE="joshtheboss"]Its all about money. Microsoft is willing to pay extra for mor features so VF5 will have online play.NeoZurg

Its bribery, plain and simple. M$ is bad for the industry. Have you ever seen Somy paying Rockstar for exclusivity of GTA games or buying Quantic Dreams for an exclusive game? Hell no! Sony is honorable and not hypocrites.

Lawl...GTA on PS2 was paid for. :P

Look at all our exclusives Heavenly Sword, Uncharted, Lair,Warhawk, MGS4, Haze, ect. We are doing fine in the exclusives, plus nobody mentions thatwe haveOblivion and RBSV that were huge hits for the 360.

Anyway, we did get Ninja Gaiden (and undoubtedly the sequel with it), and Sony secured Heavy Rain as an exclusive. We should count our blessings. Also, everyone says that Lost Planet 2 and Dead Rising 2 will be bi-platform with PS3, so that's two more exclusives that Xbox 360 is going to loose to PS3. And there's even rumors of a PS3 exclusive Dead or Alive fighting game.

Why does Microsoft steal all of our good games? To find a way to come up with that 1 billion dollar price tag to fix the ring of death error on all systems that get it.

[QUOTE="Ultra-Alue"][QUOTE="NeoZurg"]Killzone 2 will destroy Halo 3

MARK. MY. WORDS!

joshtheboss

Bioshock will destory Killzone 2.

Bioshock looks insane. Some of the most impressive water physics I have ever seen.

Oh my god the water physics, there amazing.

DEFINITELY AAAA, just look at the water physics!

Psh..that game looks boring, i'll still try it out for my 360 but after watching the gameplay video, it looks like another 360 exclusive that lems are gonna hype up, just for the simple fact its a 360 exclusive.

Ms pays for exclusives to make it seem like it is doing well while in reality it isnt. They make no money off of it, Its outsold by the ps3 most places in the world and by the ps2 every place in the world. Most of thier hyped games flop and it has moles on the forums everywhere on the internet i bet 1 is on this thread. It really doesnt benefit Sony to pay for excluisive because there is no gaurantee the games will sell well but the Devs get paid no matter what. So they say whats the point and ppl u guys have no idea how the industry work Sony doesnt pay companies ot make games they pay sony to develop games on thier platforms only if it is a 2nd party deal. Oh and Sony does own Guerilla dum a s s e s,.

M$ is not stelling it.

VF5is not asony game, the game belongs to Sega and they are free to do what they want with their games.

The point is thatM$demands 3th party devs to use live on games for x360 as part of the agreement, and you can see why their cost $60.

Sony games cost the same $60 and suck a litle more but you cant complaint coz its all about the brand...

Why do you come and bash Sony with your last line, in the Sony forum. Its obvious by your profile that you do not have any ps3 games but only 360 games, so why waste your time here?

Microsoft's interest is specifically in winning the war versus Sony. That means doing whatever it takes. They're setting themselves up for the nex 20 years of battle, not just for a particular game. It's not that they want the game on the system to make money off of it, they want the game on the system so that people don't feel the need to buy a PS3 to play certain games. They're smart and its good a good way to stay on top. It makes your system more desireable to both gamers and, importantly, developers, who see that your product has greater market penetration.

To me it sounds greedy and with them buying everything sounds like they are trying to create a monopolization of the gaming industry, just like they do with the computer industry. But that I guess is my crazy crackpot consipiracy theory.

It's not crazy, because it's true. MS wants complete domination over consumer electronics. The next inevitable step would be to start making TVs, or incorporating Microsoft technologies into existing TV brands.

You wanna know why they take PS3 games, its cause they're a bunch of uncreative, unimaginative, scheming sons of idiots. Look at Halo nothing innovative there. Its a first person shooter, wow thats never been done. They can'tcome up with anything so they look at successful companies i.e. Sony and offer up more money to the developers to steal the games. It just shows how desperate and lame that company is, just like that lame move they tried to pull during the European launch. Trying to crash the launch with a boat load of senior citezens that got paid to do it.Heres a thought Micro, come up with an original game, something thats never been done before, and maybe, just maybe you'll get some respect. In the meantime get some cream for that red ring of death syndrome.

Wait, you mean they need to add stuff like scoreboards and not online gaming?
Then why did´nt Sega add scoreboards instead of onlinge gaming?

Also what is up with the bashing of M$ over how good of a company they are,M$ is a way better company than Sony why you say?Becuase they have more money and make more money than any other in the world.they have a great OS for the PC market and great soft ware to go with there OS,the also have contracts with big names like DELL and HP to sell there OS on there computers, where as Sony does not,M$ can do what ever they whant and get away with it,Hell the GPU alown in the 360 is worth about 300-400$.So in the end M$ will win if they see that they are loosing they will start playing to gate game makers to see things there way.if we lived in FF sony would be level 50 and M$ would be 1000000000.

LOL at the logic. Sony has sold well over 200 million PS the last 2 generations. I think they know a thing or two about how to stay competitive. Those who whine about lost exclusives ignore the fact that the games are still ON the PS3, that Sony has taken away as many exclusives away from MS, that deveopers are independent and need to cover the higher cost of development on a smaller userbase, and really .. what's the big deal that a 360 owner plays the same game that u enjoy and vice versa?

Sony's strategy has evolved over the past years, and you can see that they rely less on 3rd party support (and that 3rd support has gone multi-plat .. NOT ABANDONDED THEM!). Nor do they rely solely on their own studios aka Nintendo. Guerilla Games and Ninja Theory are clear cases of when they've funded and supported a studio with potential and yet give them the freedom to do their thing.
