why does my ps3 keep turning on when i turn it off!

i set my remote for the psp on the ps3 and it seem every time i turn off the system, in about 30 seconds it turn back on. why is that, i mean it turn off in about a minute or so later, but I'm just wondering why it turn on? it keep asking for my psp or waiting for it. can someone explain that to me, cause i'm kind at a stand still here. thanks!! :twisted:

this will not help, but i have read on a lot of other forums that this is a common thing and it was one of the main problems with turning the remote play option on. Other than that i can't tell you why it does that.

it turns back on thinking your going to make a remote play connection i think... the same thing was happening to mine for a while, but if your patient and you just keep on shutting it off after it starts back up eventually it will stop. thats what happened in my caseFendersONLY

yah thats a good idea just keep having your system turn on and off for no good reason until it decides to stop or break
