i feel sad. here i am 10 hours into the game, jumping around like a mad man, killing, pushing, and just freaking out pedestrians. and with no drop in framerate, or Freezes. or any other problem for that matter. Kinda wierd tho, never had one single problem with one of my PS3 games :S makes me wonder....
I know they wanted to make a buck before Christmas. But I have to wounder how the money they will make off the game getting some bad press now "rightly so." Would compare to it being vary good in the spring? They go a year or two making it. And alot of games seem only 4 months or so to early, like they just give up at the end? You can complain about games in the past being delayed. But some of the best games ever have missed Christmas in the past, and been delayed as long as full years. To become major hits.

You all could just start treating your PS3's with respect!! :P lol. no yeah i know, but alot of people are a part of the lucky ones. it's just weird. i mean it's the same system, same game. etc etc. so why is it that some people have the problems yet others don't.
I have the 360 version aswell (for achievements and DLC) and I havent experienced any problems. So far this game is the best working 360 game I got, no FPS drop or freezing. But games like Mass Effect, OBlivion and Assassin's Creed are so big that you'll run into minor problems from time to time.
no clue :/ i can think of reasons as to why i had problems though :o 1. My GoW2 problem where i played for like hours and hours straight non-stop and then turning my ps3 off with the disc inside. Then the only game that it would read was GoW2.. That could definately be my fault. :) :oops: 2. Assassin's Creed seemed like it had fps lag during one my assassination sceness :o 3. Hmm i guess i really don't have anything else :)

yeah youre right. everything in the game works really smooth. like I said I only had it once. but after playing for about6hrs straight:P maybe thats the reason

lol i got 40 gig 2., i gotta wait for my copy of AC :( *in australia*) i hope it doesn't act up, from what i've been observing ppl with 2.0 have been screwy, maybe curruption of download lol
Ensure you are logged off while playing the game. I have only had freezing while logged in myself and it might explain why not everyone experiences lockups
Mine's frozen a few times as well (4-5 so far i think) it never actually freezes in game but sometimes it will just get stuck at a loading screen...*grr at ubisoft*

I haven't had any lag but my PS3 has froze twice during the loading screen after choosing which city to skip ahead to.
I've not had any lag at all. AC has the unlucky distinction as the second game to ever freeze on me. WarHawk was the first. It's done it twice now but I'm almost finished with the main part of the game (missing a few towers and flags though).
i've only had mine freeze a couple of times on me. The once it was just all the people that froze. i could still move the camera and see where i was pushing buttongs but my guy was just hanging in the air mid-stride.
hmm its weird but it consistantly freezes within the first 15 min of play. after it restarts i can play for hours freeze free. The only thing that worries me is all the resetting, does it hurt our baby? lol
I have a 60 GB version 2.00, and it froze once last night, but hasn't since. Odd because the only other PS3 game I had freeze on me was Oblivion which was having some really bad slowdown right before it froze. With Assassin's Creed the Frame Rate was solid, well above 30 FPS and then all of a sudden it just froze.
Ever since I got assassins creed my ps3 has been freezing and I have to keep resetting it. Even when I'm not playing the game and go back to the XMB I't some times freezes and I experienced a massive fps drop right after I assasinated this guy and the guards chased me.
