Why is Devil May Cry 4 so liked?

i can help..i suggest u select executionor...and then hit start when it loads up, and then if u hit R1 or L1 it will cycle through pages that show how to do moves

quick rundown of the moves u can use in the demo - in the actual game u can buy combo's and more moves and watnot:

R1 is lock-on u pretty much need this on most of the time...unless u wanna use buster in which case u quickly let go of r1 and do buster or busters

R1+forward+triangle = streak

R1+back+triangle - high roller

same combo but hold the triangle - rising high roller (u go up with the enemy)

once in air u can hit Triangle for aerial rave - air combo

in air R1+Foward+triangle - split, which is basically a move that strikes down...ull understant when u do it

if u want more info i suggest u come to the DMC4 PS3 boards...make a thread there and ull find us more than willing to help u out

There is one thing that you will never be albe to do and that is to button mash your way trough a DMC game exept for DMC2.

the game is supposed to be good.

but then i heard the game is 20 levels 10 you do with nero and then 10 you do with dante

I had to post this video just to show how stylish you can play in the DEMO.

I personally like DMC more than Ninja Gaiden because DMC has memorable boss fights. Ninja gaiden has oh fight this guy with a sword and hope he doesnt kill you in two moves. lol and plus i dont seem to recall seeing Ryu Hayabusa dual wielding pistols while kicking demon ass. lolmasterchief375

The heavy rock/techno tracks totally rock... Killing demons and listing to that sweet, sweet music just pumps up my adrenaline and gets me jumping around as I try to balance my breathing.

yeeeaa your ganna need to know how to play the game inorder to enjoy it and get through it. not sure how hard dmc4 will be but i heard that before you start you can either choose "casual" mode and "devil hunter" mode.

I think the best action games are DMC and NG. GOW has a great story a great art style but the game play is sooooo easy, button mashy and clunky. NG has the best gameplay out of them but the characters, art style and plot/story is soo bad that i had to force myself to beat the game as it gets boring as it seems like your not progressing but onlu killing and killing. i like DMC the best becasue it has all of the above, great gameplay maybe not as great as NG and a great story/plot but maybe not as great as GOW....however DMC has way better characters, art style and a since of control then both NG and GOW. Therefore thats why i love dmc so much....most action game to date use NG and DMC as insperation, but now a day they seem to be using GOW and they fail miserably....HS anyone it has great plot/ story and characters but the gameplay is even worse then GOW :| and the controls are terrible.

i think you have to kinda be a old school gamer to really appreiate DMC or a 2d fighting game fan.
