Me and my friend LOVE the demos, and we're still gonna get it. So why are reviewers so uptight about it? Dont always trust the reviews.

Nah, I think thats coz you tried the multiplayer bit...which the reviewer said was okay. However, the single player campaign mode and AI in general was bad...two features which you didn't get to try out in the demo :PMe and my friend LOVE the demos, and we're still gonna get it. Because they played it and thought it was bad..what's so hard about understanding that? If you watch the GameSpot review you'll see that clearly the game looks frustrating..and one thing I've always hated about the first Lost Planet was when you get knocked down. I will NOT be buying this game..this is why I look to reviews before making purchase decisions. (and yes I'm ok with that)Me and my friend LOVE the demos, and we're still gonna get it. Honestly I thought the first one was pretty bad, not awful, but still pretty bad. But I thought the Lost Planet 2 demo sucked big time, I'm not surprised at the low scores.Flame_Blade88Same here, the first one was hot-poopy imo. The demo for LP2 didn't impress me too much.

Because the people who reviewed the game didn't like it?
Hell, I don't know...

Scianix, that's just crazy talk! You meant to tell me that the reviewers only give their personal opinions? Ludicrous.
actually, there's always some objectivity in reviews.
sorry... i know you were being sarcastic and all... :P
the game is fun which is all that matters to me and my friends
reviewers seem like they do not have friends to play with (co-op game for a reason) or they were expecting a coherent story to go with killing monsters LOL
the weapons, customization, and scope of the game are insane
also LOL at all the sheeple who blindly agree with reviews without actually playing the game (demo does not count)
because they said it has alot of problems which is true but it doesnt make it a bad game. I have this game for 360 and the co op is so fun and its some of the best co op i had in a while. The only thing that really got me mad about this game is how there isnt any checkpoints in between the sections of a level. So lets say theres 3 sections in a level and you die at the 3rd section that means you gotta start all over to the first section again. I got used to it though overall its still a great game.
[QUOTE="hotfiree"]Ive always thought reviewers will hate games we love because they play so many their standards are higher.Elian2530You bring up a good point. TC, if you enjoy it.. then buy it. i disagree, we tend to only play games with high scores because we cant play everything, they play all the best games and all the ones we wouldnt touch with a barge pole

i played lost planet 2 it's very very hard, tho 3 reasons why it received bad reviews, games each year must meet expectations, let's say i build a car it has 4 wheels this year, but no steering next year it has both and people love that, and it gets high reviews, soo the next year this time it gets same treatment it gets 4 wheels same steering but just paint of coat, this is bad but will not appeal to every one, so you cannot blame the game company/car manufacturer well car manufacturer you can since lives are at stake, tho games are pushed so hard to a limit only so much can be judged, that's why they host e3 events to stimulate the games industry, but 3 reasons why lost planet didn't make the cut, 1 it's coop system didn't allow you too instantly jump in to matches, but force you to wait in lobby til games over, that reduced it 2 points off. next is roll feature and slow character movement in theory people assumed capcom was bonkers and make it old school and uncompelling taking 2 points off, last was online it didn't have variety well it did to point for me but still 1 point was deducted making it 6 point game!.
After playing the demo I've already decided to get it. I've always been a huge fan of LP and LP2 will be even more epic.gamer082009Then after the reviews..
