The demo was sick, and it looks like Sierra sure did learn a lot from the F.E.A.R gameplay/engine. This game looks awesome, and all reviews across websites say its fun, shouldnt be missed, etc, but why do they have to compare every damn game that releases to halo?! why cant this just be a new game thats just a shooter, on its own terms, not competing with anyone? /sigh...is anyone else picking up this game?PureDante
I liked the demo but I won't be picking up the game until after the holidays. There are other shooters coming out that I want to get but Time Shift is on my list.
I played the demo and it sucked, the guns feel like toys and the gameplay is boring and has been done before, games like Halo 3 and COD4 have crushed TimeshiftPS360Fanboy
lol...you guys are mean, I agree that Time Shift doesn't bring anything innovative too the table, but it's not thaaat bad.

I'm not messing with it. I'm waiting on Unreal Tournament III. Besides the gaming market is over-flooded with shooters right now. I'm sure one of the upcoming shooters will be described to be 'as good as Halo' by reviewers. Whatever the case, there opinion shouldn't stop you from wanting to pick up and try out a game. If TimeShift is one of the games you were anticipating for this season, then go on a give it a try. Don't let the over-expecting reviewers that give a game a bad review (their own opinion) change your mind about a game that you have been looking forward to playing.
When Unreal gets here, I'm picking it up. That's for damn sure. I don't care if these reviewers compare/contrast it to Halo and then give it a low score like they did Lair. They can kiss my @$$. I'm a get mine.

Gametrailers gave it an 8.3 and I agree on almost all of their reviews of games.
I thought the demo was great. It had what I was looking for and that's crazy, intense action. Explosions everywhere, body parts flying, screaming, great graphics, lots of shooting....I was really into it. I plan to get it soon, but maybe not for a few months when some of the Fall/Winter releases slow down.nyc05
I played the demo and I thought it sucked. Time control sounds like a fun and great idea but once you try and do it it becomes annoying and uncontrollable.game_masta14
I agree.
