They would probably have to delay the game even more to get that into the game. They did say though, that if the game does well they will try to make it for a sequel.
It looks like an epic single player type game. They'll have leaderboards. This isn't a game I was looking for online anyway. Just like I'm not expecting FF to be online. HOwever, I really think VF5 should have been online. Were it online more people would have bought it. As it is it's not even in our top five sellers on GS.
Not every game needs to have an online component or is designed to be played online. I'll be quite happy as long as the game is a decent length and turns out to be good. I've been quite impressed with the recent videos that have been released and I think they have some great ideas and concepts going into the game. This is coming from a developer with a good track record of flight based games and I think they'll pull off something special here for the PS3.
Honestly....that's the only complaint I have about the PS3...the 360 is MASTER of online play...the PS3 so far just doesn't have it going on in that department...too bad. MP is VERY popular.

Sorry, but I don't follow you at all here. How is the 360 superior in the online department? The games that are playable online for the PS3 are just as robust and stable as those available for the 360.
