why there is now bioshock for the PS3?

The reason is because they only planned the game for PC and 360, then 2K made an exclusivity deal with Microsoft.

Actually they do have a fully working PS3 version available to release, MS made the deal at very short notice meaning the PS3 version was pulled back. It may never see the light of day, but it does exist...somewhere.Christopper

There is no bioshock because the only people who want it, haven't tried it :P to call it "overrated" is an understatement...it's fun...for like 3 hours...it's super linear despite all the promises of freedom, most of the injectable powers are useless, meaning only a couple combos will do...anything...and there is really only a couple ways to complete the game, combat wise... It's just an FPS after all, and we have tons and tons of those all ready.Andrew_Xavier

I didn't buy it because of the demo... if it's generally accepted that levels in the demo suck, then it's no wonder I receive such horrible looks when I say that the game's overrated and derivative and only gets the attention it did because it was the only shooter on PS3 for the first six months or so.

But yeah, as much as I've all but disowned my 360, I gotta say that Bioshock earned all the awards it got. People are nuts for disliking this game.

Good god, do any of your guys read? Buckeye Jack, he has a Xbox 360. He clearly stated that he owns more than just a Playstation 3. He must be a PS3 fanboy if he owns more than a PS3! Sorry I dont have a scanner, Its in the most recent PSM3 MAG (UK). Its a very respected mag as you probably already know. Im afraid your just going to have to take my word for it but I have no reason to lie.

i' haven't read that issue of psm3 but i think i's just typical of 2k games to sell out to Microsoft for a little money autographed by bill gates and even more typical of a big "i-don't-care-whether-people-live-or-die-as-long-as-i-get-their-money-before-they-go" corporation like Microsoft to put out that deal knowing it will FUC|< over half of it's fans. bloody typical.
