I am using Wi-Fi with my PS3 and it connects to the internet and then disconnects after 10 sec.It continues this pattern. I duno y but its really anoying so please help!

calm down dude...its not like everyone lags on Wi-fi, I use it and I dont have a problem. Just like all the people online who everyone yells at for lagging, YOU CANNOT TELL WHEN YOU ARE. Everyone else suffers, people use wifi, wireless routers, have their pc on or even 2, and there is a chance someone might even be stealing some of your signal.

im using wifi and so far its pretty good, no random disconnects. sometimes when im like 30-40ft. away it starts disconnecting, but thats cause its too far from the router.

80-100m is the limit I think (until it starts disconnecting because the signal is too weak)
I live across the street from a library and pick up its linksys router on my PS3. I will get an occasional disconnect, but I'm REALLY far away from the router so I expect it.
im using wi-fi and it never disconects my signel is 100% does that mean ill get the same speed with wired connection or no so is it like this 100% wireless is equel to wired

im with at&tyahoo its a 2wire gateway home portel its acually a modem with a built in wireless ruoter its not like a extra router we just asked for a modem that more then one comuter can get hooked up to it and they gave me a modem with a router in it its one thing 4 computers can get hooked up wired and 16 wireless and i download updates/demos in five to ten minuts the speed is 1.5mbps 20 dollers a month and i never get lag

Since people who lag cant tell if they are lagging, then how do you know?
i have linksys as well and i had the same problem where it continuously disconnected but after a couple days i couldn't even sign in, so i unplugged everything (modem, router) and turned off the pc, plugged everything back in and its fine now, there was a certain order in turning each one on(its on the linksys cd or something) but no problems since and its been a month
the ps3's wifi doesnt work good with linksy, there was a link ehre somewhere i cant find it but its not ur connection or how far u are(since u say ur not that far) , then i betu its ur linksy cuz i had the same problem, changed my router, and now im about 2 rooms away from the router, and i been playin wireless for 3 months now, and not even a problem
This happened to me and i couldnt resolve it so i had to take my web key off it should work fine after that, this happened with my psp and xbox 360 and pc. so just take ure wep key off know people can get into ure router that way but oh well.
