I was kind of shocked when i bought "Farcry" for my 360, it looked dull and washed. looked better on  my pc.

If "Crysis" came out for the ps3, would it be able to compete with the "high spec pc's?

Yea i doubt Crysis it self will come out on any consoles, more like a different version like instincts/predator were on the xbox/360 and this version will release on all platforms even Wii. The 360 and Ps3 versions will look great, not as good as the PC version on max, but just as good as anyone who doesnt have 2-3k to drop on a hardcore PC will be viewing it as.

We will probably see spinoffs like Farcry did, but I doubt consoles have the RAM to run Crysis since it is using almost entirely destructible enviroments and massive, streaming worlds.

The game? no, but the engine that's use to make the game will make its way to consoles, so down the road there's will be a game that look like crysis.

yea you can play it on high but a 7800 isnt a DX10 card and Crysis is the first true DX10 game. Anyways even without DX10 on release if you wanted to play MAXIMUM settings with 16xFSAA and AF at a giant resolution (anything higher than 1680x1050) your going to need to drop at least 2 g's I would say. It might be able to be run on a cheaper rig with some smart overclocking, but i guess we will find out in time :) i know im excited to finally test that beast of a game on y rig.
