They dont damage...but i think my HDTV or HDMI cable is faulty On a few games...mostly games that play 720p i believe, small white dots will flash on the bottom (roughly where your ammo count would be on most games) Its a line of single pixels, its like they turn on and off...However Turn my TV off and on again and it fixes the fault. So most likely a Cable fault No?

Well sounds like a TV screen fault to me. Did you try standard cables to see if it is really the HDMI cable?

u guys are retarded if u pay more then 10 bucks go to monoprice.com they have all kinds of cheap crap and their stuff is high quality have been using their hdmi and networking cables for over a year and a half now and have not had one problem seriously i hate ppl who say hdmi cables are expensive their not but stores know u guys wont look anywhere else so ull spend like 30-50 bucks on a cord thats only 10ish again

Not so long as you dont imitate Indiana Jones too close the the screen. I imagine the metal on the end could leave a scratch or 2.

Completely different. I'm talking about those with false paranoias about what the product is actually supposed to do. Such as "don't put a VHS tape in your VCR! It'll ruin your VCR!"
