the ps3 is just as successful as the ps2, and in time will be more... in my opinion :P

but seriously the ps3 will be noted, once developers and third parties stop being such backstabbers and develop quality games for the ps3, instead of rushing off making a billion shooters for the 360. talk about traitors, jumping off the wagon when things get tough. pfft

Sign of things to come

Definitely, the sales of the first year are bigger then PS2 and PS1 were. I have no doubt the PS3 wil provide countless of gaming hours as much as the previous generation did.

If there is one thing I have to command on, it's the reputation, love and respect that many PlayStation long time developers always bring up with new generation, it will be the same with PS3.

As we go into second year games will start to show more and more of the console potential. ^_^

as you can see ps3 is selling exactly thae same as the ps2

Am I the only person who has heart failure every time someone mixes up "your" and "you're"? (That's what I get for doing English Language A-Levels)

As for whether or not it will be as successful, I don't really think so. The PS1 and PS2 completely dominated the opposition, whereas now the Wii is pretty much set to take the console war crown this time. I don't think that the PS3 will be in last place though... the big franchises (Metal Gear, Final Fantasy, Gran Turismo) aren't even out yet and the PS3 still has pretty strong sales.

Definitely, it's already as successful as PS2 and it's popularity will only continue to grow in the future

Although the Wii is dominating the market... I believe that i t start losing steam once Brawl and Kart are out... THen the PS3 would start closing in on the Wii.

ya i think so. i have complete confiedence that ps3 will the system war again.

the wii is gonna die down i think. it would get kinda annoying and repepitive if u just wave your arm to play most of the games.

the 360 got some life in it and its gonna go close with the ps3 by the end of this gen
