Will you Still buy MEDAL OF HONOR?

I made a topic yesturday that it scored a 6 and many people choose NO on the poll, however now that the gamespot review is out and got a 7.5, does that influence your decision? What are your reasons for purchasing or not purchasing it?

I'm still not sure what to do, because I dont know of any other game that I can get that'll keep me occupied until Black ops is out. I'm starting to lose that drive to buy MOH because I fear the online community will quickly diminish with black ops coming out and people going back to battlefield. Maybe your opinions will give me a clear view on what I should do.

Offtopic but if you're in a situation like myself and you've already thought of a game to replace your purchase, which game is it?

I preordered it to play the single player, and to see if the multiplayer has been improved on the beta. Also, to get the Battlefield 3 beta code :D

My decision not to buy MOH is based solely on the fact that Black Ops is coming out in less than a month. Meantime, there are still plenty of ppl on MW2 to mess around with.

Battlefield 3 beta and Frontlines still make it worth it for me.

Four hour SP, is four hour SP. The game can eat dirt on the shelf. Review Rating or no. And stuff the MP, who gives a shtup? The game is the GAME, not a bunch of yahoos out run'n'gunning each other... The game isn't "MAG" or "Warhawk", where MP is the focus... the SP review is why this game will never get my money. Period.

I am enjoying this game a ton. I will play Reach and MOH indefinately and I will add Black Ops (PS3) to the rotation when it comes out as well. The single player is short though. I started it around 9:30 P.M. last night and finished at about 2:00 A.M. on normal difficulty. It was good as far as SP shooters go, but I would rate it like this BC2 SP>MOH SP>MW2 SP. I enjoy what MOH brings to the FPS multiplayer genre. It is the prom night dumpster baby of BC2 and MW2 and it is alot of fast paced twitchy fun.

I'm sorry but a 7.5 is in no way a bad review and I trust gamespot much more than IGN. Get over it people and make up your own mind about a game. Reviews are rough guidelines to judge games and not a final decision. The decision if a game is good or not, at the end of the day, will ALWAYS rest in your hands. I was on the fence but I decided not to buy it. I'll wait for Crysis 2 and Killzone 3.

i warn you all to pass on this game. the game sucks, the single player is boring and your teammates are**** tards. and the online is trash. lol every one camps and the only time you'll most likely die is from spawn kills(ive died alot bec of spawn kills)and campers from across the map who you cant even see. bad game is bad..

Was on the fence about MoH. Wasn't impressed by beta mp. Was going to get if sp turned out good. MoH was hyped as having a major focus on sp. Reviews showed that the hype was wrong. Content of the reviews made me decide not to purchase. Not because of the score. I could care less about the score. I have purchased and enjoyed games that scored 6.

I'm not going to buy a game that has a meh 4-5 hour campaign. Fyi my opinion on the Battlefield/COD sp comparison is: WAW (excellent )> BC (fun) = MW2 (fun) > BC2 (meh). Reviews indicate MoH sp is more like BC2 sp than the other games so I will skip it.

Forget buying it, I doubt I would even rent it after reading the reviews. Maybe if I'm bored and just want another shooter to beat? I dunno. I am pretty shocked by the reviews though.

not going near the game

I've never played Borderlands at all. So I can't comment. The Borderlands GOTY is one of the games I'm thinking of trading Medal of Honor in for though. :P My thinking there is at least Borderlands would be something different.

I don't dislike Medal of Honor because of the "style" of online shooter it is. I'll readily admit I prefer BFBC2 over MW2 because I like the vehicle play and the HUGE maps in that game. Medal of Honor tried to take elements from those games, and I would be OK with it if it actually IMPROVED on something. But it's actually a step backwards from BOTH games as far as the online goes. It's already been established the campaign is only 4 hours. But there is also a rediculous lack of content in the multiplayer side as well. There's less available guns. Only 3 classes. You can't choose secondary weapons. There's hardly any maps. And some of the maps are ALREADY prone to spawn camping and the game is barely out.

Besides the online I already pointed out the weaknesses with single player and the lack of co-op are just rediculous. It's just a sorry package all together. Like I said the only reason I'll play it again at all is just to get the trophies.

I would not have bought the game even if it had got great ratings. I never really got in to medal of honor games, they just seem so canned to me, not my type of game. It is a bummer for everyone else that it is not a very good game though, a lot of people had their hopes up for this one.

Well, from the majority of the reviews thus far, and from the beta and previews and videos, I'm getting this game when it's a LOT cheaper.

MoH is a very good game but I am sure people LOVE to compare it to other shooters (CoD) while it shouldn't be compared. MoH plays and looks different them CoD and in my opinion I will pick MoH over CoD any day even though CoD is a good game as well.hkymike

i rented it, much better idea to figure out if its worth buying or not, i like the game, but i wouldnt buy it
