I don't listen to reviews when making decisions where to spend my money, I do research. Already own the game and enjoying it.
It's mind-blowing that people are actually influenced by reviews....
If I was a reviewer of some kind and stated: "It's cool to jump of the cliff, 9/10" I won't be surprised to see next day's newspaper..
Use your own judgement folks.. Medal of Honor is a great game and shouldn't be missed if you enjoy FPS games.
I kept my pre-order despite the reviews. I like to make up my own mind when I play the game.
Reviews are a good insight as to what to expect from the game but in the end they are only opinions. It doesnt mean because someone else thinks its crap, that I wont enjoy it.

That's the attitude I had going into it. It still failed.
I don't necessarily regret my pre-order though. With the $20 credit and being able to play through Frontlines, it would have had to be 2.5 (on MY scale, not someone else scale) or something to be a TOTAL disaster. However without that $20 discount/gift card I would urge anyone to stay the hell away. Don't pay full price $59.99 under any circumstance. Wait for it to be $19.99. It won't be long LOL.
I notice the amazon trade in is only $26 already, so I'm going to have to go to ebay to hopefully get $35 for it. That probably means a ton of people are already trading their copy in which should tell us all something right there. Usually new games are more like $35 or even $40 for trade in. I traded MW2 to amazon just a couple months ago for $38.50, which net of the pre-order "gift card" was actually more than the $36.99 that the game cost me.
[QUOTE="hkymike"]MoH is a very good game but I am sure people LOVE to compare it to other shooters (CoD) while it shouldn't be compared. MoH plays and looks different them CoD and in my opinion I will pick MoH over CoD any day even though CoD is a good game as well.Rigour_MortiseYou're right, but it does look and play like Battlefield. Yes very similar but feels more crisp then Battlefield
Exactly my man. Well said. Feel free to hit me up with a friend request dude, I am on the game a lot.I don't listen to reviews when making decisions where to spend my money, I do research. Already own the game and enjoying it.

I already own all the Bad Companys and CODs. No need for a knockoff that has less features than the games its copying.
Would u get this game or Borderlands GOTY edition?Bow-T_88
Borderlands is a great game. Pros: great style, loot collecting, coop, lots of missions. Cons: if you over-level (aka do all the available missions) you will make the enemies too easy; some people complain there are not enough fast travel stations on the maps; enemy AI is just average. Just so you are aware, most people consider solo play to be boring and believe that coop is the only way to play the game. Imo its fun solo but I am in the minority on that issue (I do agree that it is even more fun coop).

You don't consider reviews research? That seems short-sighted. Reviews can be an excellent source of info if you actually take the time to read them. The only problem with reviews is when people have a knee-jerk reaction to a numerical score. The score's really one of the least important parts of a review. It's too bad so many people fixate on scores instead of what a review actually says about a game.
