if you have a 60 gb one and when the 80gb one comes out just wondering if you would be able to get the 80 gb hardrive for the 60 gb ps3 cause i heard when you had a 20 gb ps3 you could get the hardrive for the 60 gb and you could put the 60 gb hardrive on the 20 gb ps3 system does anyone know if the 80 gb ps3 comes out in august you can purchase the 80 gb hardrive for the ps3 so you can put the 80 gb drive on the 60 gb ps3
the price drop happens tomorrow. but you have always been able to upgrade your hardrive with any laptop hard drive of the format. I hear some people even already put 160 gigs in theirs
I have NO idea what you said...BUT, I don't see any reason in buying an 80gb if you already have a PS3. They made the HDD removable and upgradeable for a reason.
I have a 160 GB drive in my PS3 and I don't really get the point of the 80 GB model, $100 seems a lot extra for 20 GB. Granted it comes with Motorstorm but I can't say even that would entice me if I was a new buyer. The 60 GB model is the sweet option imho. Â

Yeah i get what you mean, but i think i could see someone who is a first time ps3 buyer wanting the 80 gig since it does come with a game and the bigger hd for only a 100 extra dollars. but personally i like my 60 gig the way it is and i would just get an external hdd if i got close to filling this one up

I guess I just don't like Motor Storm ;)I havent touched mine in a while ever since i got rainbow six and ninja gaiden lol i might end up trading in that and virtua fighter when lair or heavenly sword comes out
