The Darkness had a good story but also had some of the worst shooting mechanics I've even used. I could hit a moving target better in real life then in that game.

Oh yeah, that was another one that bored/frustrated me before I could even get through the demo. And I had really wanted to like that one...
Turok. The aiming mechanics were so bad you couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. Weapons were ridiculously ineffective. Story was utterly pointless, the whole thing was just one frustration after another.
There are a few FPS games that i found rather bad... Haze, Turok, Alone in the Dark (first person view mode), Far Cry 2, but the worst one of all... I would say ............................................. is jericho.
If they would just make a new Turok game in the style of Turok 2 with good shooting mechanics, it would be amazing. They've really lost what makes Turok great in the new games. My worst I've got to say is Turok Evolution on PS2.
I'm surprised people said Killzone 2. I mean, okay maybe it's not your cup of tea, but it's not a bad game by any means. I think some people have it out for that game on here for some reason.

Haze -_- and operation dragon rising, played it at my friends house and i almost cried cuz it was so bad (seriously idk if its just me but that game is so boring it can be used as a depressant)
I haven't played a lot of the games mentioned here, but I did like the single player campaign of Killzone 2.
The one that jumped out in my mind when I read the topic for this thread was Darkest Days. Not sure if it came out on PS3 or not, but I played the demo on 360 and couldn't even finish that. This is the time jumping game where you use a futuristic assault rifle in the civil war and stuff. I honestly can't think of a single good thing to say about that game.

This ^ Turok is not only the worst FPS I've played, but one of the worst PS3 games I've ever played. I really wanted to like it, but no matter how much I forced myself to play it , it never got better.
