Would it be too late to get a PS3?

I've been a 360 owner for about 2 years, loved the games and everything but I'm getting a bit bored with it. To those who have a PS3, do you see it having a good future in the next 2-3 years?

yes, I see the PS3 lasting just as long as the PS2 if not longer. There's a great amount of exclusives coming for ps3 this year and next that look great. I've got a good exclusive list as my first blog entry.

Its never too late to get a PS3. Its one of the best choices I've made with consoles.

I am with you on the PS3 front. I had one, and sold it. I buy a 360 and was happy for a little bit. Now I hate it. I want my PS3 back. Gotta wait though. Price is to high for me nowadays. Good thing is, I will buy it again with the 80gb harddrive and rumble shock as opposed to the 40gb wth no rumble

The PS3 started picking up late last year...perfect time to get one for all the upcoming exclusives.

Too late? It is just getting started.

Get one and pick up older games like Uncharted, MGS 4, LBP, Resistance 1 &2, Ratchet and Clank, and so many more(whatever fits your tastes).

KZ 2, Infamous, Uncharted 2, MAG, Heavy Rain, God of War 3, etc shows the PS3 is just continuing to build up a heck of a lineup og games.

Also dont forget the great multiplats such as Fight Night 4, Assasian's Creed 2, Max Payne 3, Mafia 2, Batman, etc.

I have had a 360 since 2007 and just bought a PS3 and am loving it.

Late? No mate, we have just started. One of the best games that are announced so far are this year and 2010 with probably more announcement on E32009 and Tokyo game Show.

Plus, almost all the PS3 exclusives are on much lower price now so you can catch up and pay much less.

PS3 is here to stay for another 4-5+ years.

yes...alot of good games came out this year for the ps3...and more good games to come this year

It's never too late to buy ANY system. People are still buying systems far older than the PS3. Most haven't had official support for ten years. The PS3 launched in Q4 2006.

I think you're just a bit late... the best time for you to get it now!

Uh, yeah. It's never too late to get a PS3. The bugger is awesome and has a wonderful lineup now and in the future. It's great.

I think joining late can be better, this was the case with my 360.

Is it ever too late to purchase something that you will undoubtedly enjoy? ppl are still buying PS2's and that gen is over. My answer is "yes" to the 2 -3 yr question. There are some exclusives that might catch your interest that have already been released and more to come in the near future.

Go get one you won't regret it.

Its never too late to buy any system, especially a PS3. The system is going to be around for a long time still. There isn't going to be a PS4 any time soon and we will probably get a slimmer PS3 first like they did with the PS2.
