I'm more interested in whats going to be inside then how it looks. This is what I think.....

Cell CPU with added micro code and faster speed 32nm design

Nvidia GPU with 512-768MB RAM

500GB to 1T HD or BYOHD

It would take ALOT of advanced circuitry to fit something like the PS4 into a tiny area on that glass. But if they could do it I would LOVE it. And the controller is really neat too. But next time I think Sony will be more conservative with the price. beinss

That looks like something from a futuristic sci-fi movie. Looks pretty nice though. I remember reading a few years ago that the PS4 will be able to read your mind.

If that wasthe official design for a PS3 when it is released I would still get it. Its whats on the inside that counts right? ;)

the looks wouldn't matter if it produces awesome games... even if the design was a Trash Can... but inside is one hell of a gaming machine... i think even you will buy it...

Honestly, I couldn't possibly care less what a console looks like. I don't buy videogames based on how the console looks...I buy them to play games. Granted, I will often note and comment on the appearance of consoles if I like the design or not, but it has never crossed my mind to BUY a console based purely on look.

On the flip side, I also think it is stupid when every single console generation, people inevitably whine about how "ugly" the console they don't like is but how "sexy and beautiful" their console is. We've heard about grills and VCRs and purses, etc. I just think that these people are exposing themselves as the non-gaming posers they really are. They only care about look and image, not games.

I probably wouldn't because it looks like it would break easily. Unlike the current PS3 which is very durable.

The L and R buttons are missing on the controller.

And that controller looks ugly imo. But the system is ok.
