Wow. I was about to say "Why would you base whether to buy a console on its appearence?", but then I saw it. That is the sexiest piece of kit I have ever seen - I'd buy it simply for the prestige it would come with. After all, I'm sure that's one of the factors that made me want to buy a PS3 back when it was a little bit pricier (the kind of thing everyone wanted, but claimed was rubbish because they couldn't afford it) :lol:
Oh dear. Artistically it is clever. However, it reminds me of something I would see at Sharper Image or Brookstone. My favorite console design of all time is the Dreamcast. Second place would be the PC-Engine.
i would not let the look of a console stop me from buying it. While i enjoy a good looking system "dreamcast ftw" its the least of my concernes. price,funtion,games,reliabilty,bang for the buck all are vastly more important. but yea thats a cool looking system. never going to happen but still it looks cool.
Console looks strange, although interesting. PS3 Looks better.
AND GOD PLEASE DESTROY THAT CONTROLLER! Sony stick to the dual shock 3, or make a dual shock 4 that has the motion controller sony is making put into the dual shock controller.
It's 2009, why are people already talking about the PS4? And I've already seen this drawing somewhere else, I don't remember where, though.
Anyway, it looks alright, I guess. Not a fan of the controller but other than that it's OK. I haven't figured out why people make such a fuss on consoles looking futuristic, I like them to look good, but they don't have to look like something from a Sci-Fi movie.
